Dr. Apple earned his medical degree and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine. He then pursued a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Prior to joining Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Specialists, Dr. Apple began his career as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Joint Replacement at Tulane University School of Medicine, where he was involved in the education and mentoring of residents and medical students. Dr. Apple has been an invited speaker at regional and national meetings, has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, and has presented his research at regional, national, and international conferences. He currently serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty and the Journal of Knee Surgery. Dr. Apple is a Fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Apple feels that patient education is essential for successful orthopedic care and loves seeing patients return to their activities, whether with surgical intervention or non-operative treatment. He is excited to establish his practice in Colorado and is currently accepting new patients at the Denver and Parker locations.
