They fit me in when I was 1hr late
He is so smart, he immediately told me I had a tendon problem in my finger. He did a prior authorization to send me to one of the best orthopedic hand surgeon around.

I always look forward to my appointments.
He’s a very good doctor. He always takes his time during my appointment. If there is one thing that bad it is the referral department. I can never get a referral. I called on a Monday to get a referral for an appointment on Thursday, gave them all the information they needed including my phone number. I never heard from anyone

Visit with doctor is always good, problem is staff
It is so difficult to get a refill or have a nurse return a call. and the Patient portal is useless.
Even though I love Dr. Calvert who is so knowledgeable, I’m thinking about finding a new provider because I can’t deal with the zero responses to RX/refills! It’s not worth all the time I spend trying to get my RX’s!

Outstanding Doctor, Partners and staff!
Never disappointed. They do all they can to ensure that you understand everything happening with labs, procedures, visits and referrals at all times. I've been a patient with Dr Calvert for over 12 years now. He is constantly learning and engaging in groups of other Doctor's for the betterment and advancement of his skills for his patients. All of The Healthcare Associates of Texas group are gentle, kind, compassionate, comforting and super attentive to all needs of their patients which can sometimes mean a longer wait time because they care about each patient, their questions and concerns. This office is very professional and courteous.
Dr. Calvert was my first doctor when we relocated to Texas. I had to switch for insurance reasons for a couple of years but came back to his practice as soon as possible. He takes the time to explain why and doesn't just diagnose.

Great care. Poor office.
Medical care is great. Dr. Calvert and Bethany are friendly, clear, and provide effective treatment. The office staff, on the other hand, are surly, inefficient and hard to communicate with. If they shared the customer service focus of the physicians, it would be a top notch experience.
