Dr. Oberlander is personable and an excellent surgeon!
I don't think any back surgery can be described as a great experience, however, Dr. Oberlander, by performing this surgery, and using is expertise to heal the problems that I had going on in my back, has been a major contributor to giving me my life back.

Much better than I expected
In a word "awesome". I had to make numerous calls to ease my

Quick diagnosis and resolution to my pain
I came to Dr. Oberlander in a lot of pain. He immediately knew which test to run to give me a proper diagnosis, performed my surgery and had me pain free immediately after surgery.

Excellent staff in both office and hospital. Excellent facility and care. Highly Recommend!
For two years I had trouble functioning day to day because of my intolerable pain -- I felt like my head was a "bowling ball". After surgery, I am enjoying activities and functions with my family and friends. Dr. Oberlander and his PA, Kate, did an excellent job explaining my condition and my surgery. They always took the time to answer any of my questions. Highly recommend!

Completely stress free
Personable, informative, caring, responsive, Top Tier staff.
Everything went as described Dr. Oberlander and his entire tearm were wonderful to me. I have recommended him to some of my friends who could benefit from his expertise. He's the kind of Doctor you give thanks for. His support staff treated me as though I was so special. I felt appreciated and respected as a patient

Wonderful and attentive care
I had originally chosen another provider. but my GP had recommended Dr. Oberlander and I'm so glad he did. I knew in the first 10 minutes after meeting him that I was going to chose Dr. Oberlander to perform my operation. He was wonderful in all aspects of my experience.

This whole experience has changed my life for the better.
Since meeting Dr. Oberlander last year, I met with him and one of his P.A.'s and both gentleman did an outstanding job explaining the need/benefit as well as risks associated with the ACDF. I was so afraid to have surgery for over a decade. After the COVID-19 Pandemic, as a front line worker, I have been able to return to work successfully and feel much better than I have in years. Dr. Oberlander has been a Physician that I trust and would recommend him for surgery to anyone.

In total it was great!
I had surgery in my lumbar after years of lower back pain. Four months after surgery I have zero lower back pain. Dr. Oberlander did an amazing job repairing the damage to my lower back.

i felt confidence from the beginning.
dr. oberlander came very highly recommended and lived up to that recommendation. his pa's were also excellent and easy to work with and took whatever time i needed. the hospital experience was also very good. the nurses and staff were friendly, attentive and helpful.
follow up calls with personal nurse was also very helpful.
