Caring and compassionate
Dr Flaningham truly cares for his patients. His approach is warm and compassionate as opposed to the dry, clinical manner of many physicians. He’s always taken the time to listen to my concerns and has never been dismissive of an issue, no matter how minor the issue my be. I truly appreciate him!

Caring & Trustworthy Doctor
I’ve been with Dr. F for at least 4 years and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my personal life and care. He’s the kind of doctor that patients like me are lucky to have; often feels like a friend over a doctor, but in the good/appropriate way. He cares and wants to listen, supports and wants to give advice, and is all around a great mental health care provider and advocate.

The best Dr. I ever had!!!
He makes me feel as if he actually cares, understands and listens. He puts his input in each concern and conversation I have with him!! He makes me feel comfortable in opening up and sharing. It’s very rare to find a Dr. that actually cares and makes you feel more than a number. I feel like I have finally found a Dr. I can make true progress with!! Dr. Flaningham has provided me with years of excellent care...
Dr. Flaningham has been my doctor for many years and he has consistently went above and beyond. He really listens, he is VERY knowledgeable and he always explains everything thoroughly. His level of knowledge is outstanding, but he is still very personable. Doctors like him are hard to find. He treats his patients as individuals. He takes the time to address any and all of my concerns/questions. Dr. Flaningham is an amazing doctor! I am SO thankful to have a knowledgable doctor that truly listens with understanding, respect and compassion.

Hassle free friendly and most important helpful experience.
Well between the ups and downs at home,work and recovery Dr.Flanningham has always felt like not just my Dr but a friend with a good listening ear and someone that I can trust and give me good advice wether I want to hear it or not and with my own personal recovery I think he has been the most understanding with where I am in life and with where I want to be and I am seeing things change in a good way that I have not seen in many years.

Incredible doctor, wouldn’t see anyone else
I have been with Dr. Flanningham for over 15 years. I have yet to find a more dependable, caring and knowledgeable psychiatrist through living in multiple states. He has an ability to listen to your thoughts and concerns and initiate the best plan of action in a manner that makes you feel like you have a heavy hand in your treatment.

Great doctor who believes in helping and educating.
Been seeing Dr. Flaningham for at least 10 years, if not longer and the goal has always been improving my overall health. Both mentally and physically. The mental part comes from awareness, recognition and steps beyond just medication to improve my cognitive function. He also takes the time to understand all the factors that make up the complexity of my life and comes up with a plan to benefit me mentally and physically.

Always a great experience!
Dr. Flaningham is the best! My husband & I drive over two hours to see him, because he is down to earth, honest, always helpful, never blows us off or rushes us, & he just truly cares about his patients. He’s super easy to talk to & we never feel judged or spoken down to. We’ve been seeing him for a few years now, & we have no plans of switching doctors.
