Left with confidence of my upcoming surgery
Aimee Dinwiddie. PA, came before dr donato, and was very informative and friendly. Dr Donato came in near the end and was equally kind and informative. They were very busy, and would have liked more time….more questions came when I left. I’ll just make another appt before my surgery which isn’t until mid or late January.

Great Team!

Well worth the wait in the waiting room
Dr. Donato clearly informed me about the diagnosis and the prognosis. It took me a while for it to sink in so I didn't get to ask the questions that came up after the appointment. But Dr. Donato made a huge effort to answer ALL my questions and concerns. And that I greatly appreciated. Thank you Dr. Donato and all the staff at Camelot and Princess Anne!!

Awesome
I was new to the doctor and staff to Atlantic Orthopedic Specialists in Virginia Beach.
I was treated well and Dr. Donato took time not only to listen to me, but explained what I can expect going forward with my hip pain and prognosis. I felt at ease and look forward to a great outcome.

Doctor and PA were both great.
Overall I could not have asked for a better interaction with Amy the PA and Dr. Donato. Very professional yet very friendly. Spent time, answered all questions etc. Only downside was the long wait. I was early for my 2;55 appointment but not seen till arounf 3;45.

Amazing doctor!!
Dr. Donato was kind, considerate, knowledgeable and took up a lot of time with me. He answered all of my questions—he ensured that I was well informed of my diagnosis and upcoming surgery. I have every confidence in the world in this doctor and it was my first visit. Exceptional!

On target, professional, no worries...
"You aren't wrecked enough to go through a hip replacement right now." Do you know how much I appreciate the fact that a Medical Professional WASN'T suggesting that I undergo surgery to correct the problem I was facing? That the solution they offered has worked out very well! Trust is a huge factor when choosing where I seek medical attention. I'm at 5+ years with Dr. Donato simply because he's straight up professional, knowledgeable and doesn't BS me. Great Job Doc!

1st of 3 shots series to knee
Dr Donato was super even though he was running behind 45 minutes. Who knows what caused the delay; didn’t matter to me. Gave me time to slow down!! The nurse had everything ready for him to give me the knee injection; in and out in less than 10 once shown to room

Results of X-rays delivered with care and concern
Though I was there to see Dr Donato about my lack of stability due to bum left knee and right hip, he also picked up an infection in my right big toe! Antibiotics prescribed. He delivered his news with care and concern about my hip being worse than my knee and listened to my thoughts about more shots to my knee and hip replacement. Left with feeling that this visit was very worthwhile from reception to doctor to follow up visits scheduled right there and then!

Great dr. Dr. Donato is a very pleasant person. He takes the time to explain things to you. He answers your questions and makes you feel like part of the process. All in all, a great experience.

I felt that Dr. Donato really listen to what I was saying and gave me an honest evaluation regarding surgery which I’ve been putting off for the past three years. Another doctor wanted to do surgery after my first visit, And I didn’t feel that this was the case with Dr. Donato and his staff

He found reasons for my knee problems. I signed up for physical therapy. I had xrays and will have a follow up.

Dr. Donato is a dr who cares
Dr Donato treated me with kindness and respect. I had torn my labrum in my hip. Being an overweight person, we sometimes get treated like it is our fault. This is not the case at Atlantic Orthopedic. I have never been treated poorly and when I said I wanted to hike again, Dr. Donato said, “Well let’s schedule that surgery and get you on your way to that goal.”

Dr Donato is excelent!
He has been with me through many broken bones and has listened and given encouragement and advice outside of the immediate problem. He treats you like family and I would recommend him to anyone.
