I was very over weight when I came to see Dr. Kerlakian, we talked an an he decided that lap band would be the best choice for me, I went for a few weeks before the surgery and saw a Dr. about my mental point of view to make sure this was really what I wanted and saw Maria his dietian to work out the right things that I should eat. I had my surgery on Feb 25, 2009, it was the best thing I believe I every did, so far, its been 7 yrs, I have lost around 100 pounds, I am not a diabetic any more, things I wasn't able to do before I can do now. Dr. Kerlakian and his staff has away been so kind to me, I have had to have fills, and sometimes, some of my fills taken out, its been a journey, but a learning one. I feel so blessed to have had Dr. Kerlakian to be with me through mine. I've been wanted to do this for so long and didn't know how and found this web page.
