Fantastic Prenatal Care
Dr. Sams was wonderful during my prenatal care with my first child. The care, empathy and understanding is exactly what I look for in a care provider. Going into my second pregnancy there was no doubt Dr. Sams would be who I placed my trust in again!

Friendly, helpful atmosphere
Every visit I am greeted with a smile. I never have to wait long to be seen. Every staff member that I have come in contact with have made me feel very comfortable even in "uncomfortable" situations. Thanks for going above and beyond!

Truly the BEST!
Dr. Sams has wonderful beside manner, is patient, and very attentive. Any concern is handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Couldn't ask for a better healthcare provider and feel so secure in decisions and care provided. He takes genuine concern and cares for you as if you were a family member. Couldn't ask for a better doctor!

Understanding and personable - Easy to communicate with
I began seeing Dr. Sams several years ago. I came in with not feeling like myself, little bit of depression. We spoke for about 45 minutes discussing my options. He was very open and receptive to treatment options, answering any questions I had. What I really liked, was he was not quick to give pills - wanted to run blood work and see before we came up with a treatment option.
I continue to see him today. Always friendly, respectful, and honest.

Awesome Service!!
I feel valued from the time I sign in at the front desk, until I see the doctor. Everyone is super helpful and professional everytime I visit. It's more like visiting with family than coming to a doctor's appointment.

Overall satisfied, Did have 1 negative experience where bad TSH labs were missed, but that was no fault of DR. Labs were scanned into my chart without being reviewed

Perfect bedside manner
Dr. Sams has been the perfect physician to see my through both pregnancies and deliveries. He is has the best bedside manner to make any nervous mother to be at ease. His willingness to listen and take the time to explain everything has always been comforting. I am so thankful to have him as a part of my care team!

Finally feel I'm in good hands!
Dr. Sams listens patiently, but makes you feel he is engaged in the conversation- not just waiting for his turn to speak. That willingness to listen, answer questions honestly and address concerns professionally? That is exactly what I needed from my OB and precisely why I'm so happy I called The Islands and made my move from previous provoders. Dr. Sams and Dr. Milam are fantastic health care pros, and their staff is just as exceptional. From registration to checkout, you're treated with friendly professionalism.

Fantastic Service, Caring Doctor
Dr. Sams and his staff are amazing. They take time to listen to your concerns and ensure you know the answers. Dr. Sams always takes time in my appointments to ask me about how I am doing and what is going on in my life. They are a fantastic office.

Dr. Sams is a doctor who listens!
I felt immediately comfortable with Dr. Sams. He listened to my concerns and recommended a course of hormone therapy that has worked. His office staff is also amazing--responsive and friendly.

Great doctor!
Dr. Sams is one of the best! Definitely would recommend him to anyone searching for an OB. He is understanding of my religious preferences to not take birth control and my natural family planning choices. Great doctor!

The Absolute Best.
Dr. Sams and his whole staff is warm and welcoming. We ran into a personal family issue and Patti worked with us through every step of the way. I am beyond happy to have them as my doctor's office and feel lucky to have them watching and taking care of me through my pregnancy.

Love them!!!
Over the years Dr. Sams and Dr. Milam have taken great care of me in the office and in surgery. They really take the time to listen and address your questions and concerns. Great bedside manner! They really take there patient care to heart.
