Dr Melnick is wonderful
Dr Melnick is caring. He listens to me as I recount my symptoms during every visit and adjusts medication accordingly. He's a great doctor. He treat me as a person and not as a set of lab results. Due to his treatment, I'm feeling better and have more energy. I highly recommend him.

Informed, thorough, and willing to listen and treat symptoms
Seen for thyroid/Hashimoto's treatment. For 15 years I have seen countless doctors, who ignored my complaints of severe symptoms that persisted despite taking synthetic thyroid medication, who had no idea of the autoimmune nature of Hashimoto's, who literally said that this "is my life now and get used to it." Dr. Melnick came highly recommended, and is worth every penny. He let me explain my history and frustration, and immediately prescribed a complete set of labs (and then some!), as well as a natural thyroid medication (Armor), which no doctor is willing to do. During followup visits he remains attentive and helpful, and genuinely concerned with the well-being of his patients. Dr. Melnick is a rare gem, a doctor with many years of experience who nevertheless keeps himself up-to-date in the world of thyroid disorders, and without hesitation I recommend him to those who have not found relief with "traditional" thyroid/Hashimoto's treatment.

Dr. Melnick a person that really cares about and understands me
When I had my last visit with Dr. Melnick I felt that we reached a milestone in my care. My hasimotos symptoms have resided due to the proper dose of medication. This is the most comfortable that I have ever been with a doctor, and this is coming from someone who hated going to the doctor. H e actually cares about my well being as a person and not just a patient. I have never felt rushed out of his office as I have with other doctors. On the contrary, we spoke about our lives and were very candid with eachother. I am so lucky that my wife found this man to care for me and treat my disease. Honestly, for as long as I've lived I've never met a more empathetic doctor who truly cares because he listens. He actually listens and doesn't just look down at a file and write while he speaks to you. This man is truly a diamond in the rough

The experience has been excellent for me and my husband
Since i have started treatment with Dr Melnick my quality of life has improved tremendously. He diagnosed me correctly and provided appropriate treatment when no other doctor could understand what is wrong with me for many years.
My husband has the same experience as me and feels already much better with the treatment since the Dr Melnick started treating him few weeks back.

So helpful and relaxing!
Having Hashimoto's for 8+ years, I am so grateful to have found an endocrinologist that listens to me and works with me to help deal with my issues! After one visit with him (and a subsequent medication revision) I am feeling SO MUCH better--my energy is up, my brain fog is gone and I am feeling like my old self again.

Dr. Melnick and staff are excellent. Dr. Melnick diagnosed my thyroid problem within the first visit and 2 years later he has worked with me to get my levels optimal. His staff is excellent as well and are easily reachable.

Dr. Melnick is an excellent physician and diagnostician, and more importantly spends time with you and listens to you about your individual health. He diagnosed my Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and worked with me on a treatment plan that resulted in my living life to its fullest! Finally a Doctor who listened to me!
