Warm and positive experience from the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Trope explained everything in detail and in a clear manner. He took the time to answer all my questions and discuss a game plan. Lisa and the rest of the staff were also very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Trope.

A great listener and caring professional!
I moved to Cape Coral from VA in June 2020. Since 2017, I had been having significant gut issues with terrible bloating and chronic constipation/ diarrhea. I had seen all of the specialists in VA, and had every test imaginable. All they came up with was that I needed to be on a Low FODMAP diet. Nothing worked. When I first saw Dr. Trope I was very impressed by his listening skills and caring manner. Based on my symptoms, he had me tested for SIBO, and I was off the charts! He saw me through a protocol of treatment that worked super well. However, my severe bloating persisted. He ordered a CT which showed that my bowel would twist up over itself causing an obstruction and then, eventually flip back down. Finally, I had a correct diagnosis!!!!! He immediately referred me to a surgeon, and in January 2021 I had a Right Bowel Resection which corrected the problem. My severe bloating is now gone, and I’m finally on the road to recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Trope!

the doctor was very intelligent and spent a great deal of time with me.
The doctor fielded all my questions and was very attentive to my needs. He spoke to me on the level that I could understand and was patient with my questions.
