Dr. Kolar was born in Lake Jackson, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Houston with a Medical Doctor degree in 1991. Her medicine internship was at the University of California in San Diego and her dermatology residency program was completed at University of Texas at Houston in 1995.
Dr. Kolar moved to the Reno area in 1996 and has worked at the VA Medical Center, and Air Center Dermatology before joining Skin Cancer & Dermatology Institute in June of 1999. Dr. Kolar practices General Dermatology to include skin cancer screenings, acne, rashes, mole checks, biopsies, excisions and dermatopathology.
Dr. Kolar is married and has two beautiful children, Elena and Eric. She enjoys spending time with her family and taking advantage of the many outdoor activities our beautiful area offers.
Dr. Kolar sees patients in Carson City and Reno. At this time, Dr. Kolar is not accepting new patients at her Reno location, but is accepting new patients in Carson City.
