I am very pleased with the results of the reverse shoulder replacement
Overall experience with Dr. Guttman, his staff and Holy Cross hospital was good and satisfactory. I am very pleased with reverse shoulder procedure.. My range of motion is good and I have very mild to no pain. I am very grateful to Dr. Guttmann he is a very skilled surgeon. His surgery team is excellent!

Very positive experience.
Dr. Guttmann was wonderful explaining my situation and his plan for my surgery and recovery. I must thank him for his recovery recommendations, especially for using the ice/compression machine, which I believe helped me reduce my need for heavy narcotics post-op. Dr. Guttmann did an AMAZING job repairing the mess that was my rotator cuff. Thanks you!! I recommend him to everyone I run into with shoulder problems.

I could not be more satisfied with my reverse shoulder replacement and the care I received from Dr. Guttmann and his team. Dr. Guttmann was consistently present, clear, and thorough. He was sensitive to my pain, an excellent listener, and I felt cared for with professionalism and truly solid expertise. I really appreciated the educational piece he provided about what exactly was happening in my body, going over x-rays and videos with me. Of course bottom line Dr. Guttmann is an excellent surgeon and I almost immediately felt a cessation of pain and aching after my replacement. It is also important to say he has an excellent support and admin team who helped me muddle through the challenge that is dealing with health insurance companies. A great task that they moved through with grace. Thank you Dr. Guttmann and team!

I feel very grateful that Dr. Guttmann encoutaged lots of physical therapy. I had a very bad fracture and over time with lots of physical therapy it improved beyond my expectations.

Dr. Guttmann is the very best!
I went to Dr. Guttmann with a severe shoulder dislocation. Rather than automatically scheduling surgery, as too many surgeons do, he took a different approach. He recognized that with physical therapy and work at home, I might be able to regain enough function to not need surgery at all. He was right, and as badly as I was injured when I went to him, I've made a remarkable recovery. He is overall the very best doctor I've ever seen. He's a great communicator as well, and a just a fine person. I can't recommend him enough.

I've had both rotater cuffs repaired with excellent recovery.
Dr. Guttmann listens more and takes more time with patients and his students than I ever saw done by the orthopedists when I was in PA school. His diagnosis and treatment along with PT afterwards has eliminated the pain and decrease in shoulder function that was occurring prior to treatment.

I am significantly better and have very little pain.
This has been a very positive experience. I have improved steadily in both strength and range of motion. Dr, Guttman has consistently made me aware of what to expect, and he has answered all my questions. I have had very little pain, just occasional mild discomfort.

A decade of pain and limit finally restored with hardwork.
This surgery has been life changing for me. My mental heath has been turned around by the restoration of my shoulder. The ability to use my shoulder in day to day functions pain free has been the biggest benchmark. I am forever grateful to everyone in my care team from surgery to PT to bodywork.

Very happy with my interactions and results of my surgery
Very good experience. Wait times for visits were sometimes excessive but it was worth it. Never felt rushed, always was listened to and my questions were answered thoroughly.
