I've known and trusted Dr. Dan Guttman 10+ years. He performed a left rotator cuff repair for me about 10 years ago and I've had a good outcome. Three years ago, he performed a right rotator cuff repair and frozen shoulder release after a traumatic accident which resulted in a fractured right clavicle, frozen right shoulder, and massive right rotator cuff tear, and neck injury. Dr. Guttmann was patient, professional, and thorough, throughout. Dr. Guttmann released the frozen shoulder and repaired my rotator cuff tear surgically, and I've had a good outcome, since. I highly recommend Dr. Dan Guttmann to anyone with a shoulder injury that may require surgery. Dr. Guttmann, you and your team have been exceptional, thoughout! I'm grateful for your professional care, treatment, and guidance. Thank you! (And, for anyone preparing to have shoulder surgery, I'll respectfully recommend getting a reclining chair so that you can sleep better in the days following surgery).

I have being doing this exercise that Dr Guttmann recomended ons the anterial deltoid. It really works. I do these exercises 6 days a week with 20 reps 5 times. I know that my shoulder will never be at 100% but it feels like 60% with the type of injury I have. It really works!!

Dr. Guttman has been the consummate professional pre- and post-op on my shoulder. My results have been outstanding and am quite happy with the progressions over the first 2.5 months post-surgery. Excellent listener and even better at responding to my questions. If I ever need another surgery (which I hope I do not!) I would come to Guttman first and have been recommending him to other since Day 1.

Dr. Guttmann did an excellent job repairing my rotator cuff, labrum, and biceps tears. In addition, he communicated well with me and my physical therapist before and after surgery, as well as during the long rehab period. My outcome was excellent, and I recommend him highly.

Dr Guttmann has repaired my rotator cuff multiple times. Dr Guttmann is willing to take extra time in the operating room to ensure complicated repairs are completed at the highest level possible. Post-Op follow up is outstanding. Dr Guttman will take what ever time is needed to explain the surgery and answer any questions you may have. Dr Guttmann also takes time from his busy practice to visit various Physical Therapy groups to explain the latest surgical techniques and possible modalities for Physical Therapy. When I came to Dr. Guttmann's office, I could barely lift my arm. I was in a lot of pain and my arm was practically useless because of adhesive capsullitis. All of the staff was amazing from my first visit, during my surgery and during my follow-up visits. I am 3 months post surgery and my arm is at 90%. So glad that I was referred to Dr. Guttmann's office!

Dr. Guttmann explained in detail the procedure I would have which is a Superior Capsule Reconstruction. He also gave me other options for me to consider. He takes his followups very seriously and explains the proper recovery therapy. I have all the confidence that He will give you his best.

I had no illusions about this surgical procedure before going into it, and i think my realism helped me come through with less pain than expected, less frustration and a much, much more determined attitude about my physical therapy. After 2-1/2 months, i'm really happy about my progress and ready to face the long rehab.

I had a very severe shoulder injury. Dr Guttman performed the operation and did an amazing job. I was fearful that I'd never regain the use of my left arm but Dr Guttman was able to repair the damage. He, his staff and the hospital are wonderful. In less than a year I can lift and use my left arm again for work and for living life.

Treated my grandfather's hip issue. He treated him like family. He was kind, very patient and very thorough.
