Dr. Guttmann evinced caring and dedication from my first phone conversation with him. He took time to listen carefully to me and asked good questions to ascertain an individualized approach to my shoulder problems. I felt confident going into surgery with him as my doctor, and am extremely pleased with the results. He seems to love what he does and to truly enjoy being able to help people with his considerable skills.

Dr. Guttman has been great and done everything to provide for me.
I had to have left shoulder surgery and he gave a clear diagnosis of my injury and gave my options of how to correct that injury. We went with surgery and the process of rehab has been fantastic.

I feel extremely fortunate to have had Dr. Guttmann as my surgeon.
He was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous throughout the entire process. I would recommend him without question. He has made my healing journey a fantastic one.My rotator cuff tear was Massive, and he did tremendously well with it's repair. I am so grateful he lives in my part of the world!

I am so very happy with the results of my surgery.
Dr. Guttman was very professional and caring. He spoke personally on the phone with my PT, Ron Gallien in Alamogordo. He was very thorough with what he was going to do to fix my shoulder and checked up on me a few days after surgery. No one in Alamogordo would do the surgery on my arm because it was complicated. Dr. Guttman took the time to fix it and it changed my life. I would highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Guttman

shoulder surgery went very well. very successful.
Explained all options and proceeded with caution, before surgery was performed. Answered all questions and all concerns about outcomes and time of recovery. Very clear that I must continue to work hard at my exercises that will improve my muscle strength and flexibility. I am very happy with the result.

Dr. Guttmann gave me a clear diagnosis and after the procedure with PT I have gained full mobility of my shoulder.

Rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder.
He was honest about the prognoses and the potential for recovery from the beginning. After much deliberation I went ahead with the surgery. I have steadily gained strength, have little to no pain and am able to do things in a very close to normal fashion. I am very please with him as a surgeon.

Every thing went smoothly and I got excellent care from everyone on the team.
The Dr, Did a great job. I used the protocol called how to heal rapidly from surgery and it was very helpful. I did not need pain medication after three days and my shoulder is doing well. The person who designed this is Peggy Huddelston. I used this once before 20 years ago when I had a hysterectomy and within a week I was up and walking a mile.
I appreciate the doctors expertise and skills. This was a positive experiece for me

After going to another surgeon telling me it could not be repaired. Dr Guttmann came to the rescue and patched my shoulder back together.

Superb in every way.
Dr. Guttmann got me right in, was able to discern what was most needed and did it handily. After less than two weeks out from surgery, I have more mobility than I've had since the initial accident on Feb. 1st 2020. I would recommend Dr. Guttmann unqualifiedly to anyone with shoulder issues

My experience with Dr. Guttmann and Holy Cross has be excellent
Staff has been courteous helpful and caring through the entire experience. I have no complaints at all. Surgery seems to have help so far, very little pain left at 6 weeks.
