He fulfilled his residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park. In the subsequent two decades, Dr. Shekib has given care in a variety of contexts, practicing at the New York Medical & Diagnostic Center and the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, as well as eight years at his own private practice in Jamaica, Queens.
