She also trained in Internal Medicine at UT-Houston Medical Center and at Weill Cornell-New York Presbyterian Internal Medicine programs, following which she became certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine and a Diplomate in Endocrinology, Diabetes and metabolism.She joined Beth Israel Medical Center and the Albert Einstein Faculty in 2003 where she practiced and actively participated in the teaching of residents and fellows until 2016. During her career at Beth Israel, she conducted several clinical trials in diabetes and heart disease and diabetes and obesity. She also had a busy clinic for thyroid cancer at New York Eye and Ear, treating for 11 years over 400 patients.? Dr Saliby joined the Weill Cornell faculty and New York Presbyterian Hospitals in July 2016. She serves as the Director of the Endocrinology Services at the Lower Manhattan Campus and sees patients in both the Lower Manhattan and the Upper East Side offices.Her interests remain in thyroid disease and thyroid cancer in particular, as well as in Diabetes and Metabolic diseases.
