Dr. Timothy Keenen, MD

Before surgery I was about 95% immobile. Couldn't walk but a few feet at a time and back/leg pain was very much keeping me from doing anything. I researched thoroughly doctors in the area and I chose Dr. Keenen because of the reviews. After meeting with Dr. Keenen and his assistant it was very relieving to have them carefully listen to my issues. Dr. Keenen reviewed the MRI with me as to what my issues were and he made a diagnosis of what we needed to do to relieve the pain. Now after the surgery and can say it was a complete success and the pain is gone. Dr. Keenen was very helpful during and after the surgery in following up with questions and guidance to have a complete recovery. If you've been debating on surgery, rest your mind and contact Dr. Keenen's office now...don't wait.

My car was rear ended in 2011. I felt burning down my arms and received a call from Dr Keenen who saw my MRI and let me know that C5 was injured and would require surgery. The following Monday I was schedule at Meridian hospital and the surgery was spot on, giving me better range (once healed) in my neck than I had pre-surgery. In 2017, while waiting on a red light, a car rear ended my car causing injury to C7. Dr Keenen was able to do the surgery/repair and give me my life back. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and skill. I will highly recommend Dr Keenen to anyone I know.

After living with severe lower back pain for 4 years, I finally started looking into surgery. I met with 3 different surgeons before deciding to work with Dr. Keenan. He is patient and listens. He also is able to provide advice without being pushy. He provided the information I needed to be confident in going through with the surgery. I would recommend Dr. Keenan to anyone. I went with Dr.Keenen as he also had done some surgery for a family member, he was very precise and had good explanations for the type of surgery i was going to have. He did a spine fusion of my L5 S1 and after recovery I am feeling much better than prior, able to do my daily activities longer with out the need to rest like before or be in terrible pain. I have been to other spine specialists over the years and never got the assurances I received from Dr. Keenen. By that I mean he was actually focused on me the patient. He looked me in the eye while I spoke and I felt important to him. He also provided me another assurance as having had the procedure himself,so he knows both sides of the table to speak of.Overall the experience was great and I can,t believe the possibilities that lay ahead for me. I can do activities now that I had written off for being to old and painful.

Was able to get the diagnosis and eventually surgery. Took more time than I wanted, but it took less time than other people I talked to with similar problems. He's busy for a reason, and insurance companies don't want to spend more than they have to.
