Overall, a good experience.
Initially, I wanted more time and explanation of everything. I did go to another office for a 2nd opinion just to be sure. Pre-op appt made me feel a lot more at ease, and then surgery went really well. His phone call the afternoon on the day of also made us very appreciative. I trust Dr Wiggins' expertise and skill, and I do wish there had been more 'bedside' manner in the beginning to help understand what our son needed. Overall, I am satisfied with the treatment and care. I would admit that I am an anxious mom in general and need a lot of conversation around my child's needs for medical care.

Much easier than expected
Dr. Wiggins and each of his staff members seemed to be extremely knowleegable, while also being warm and friendly. IDue to the doctors thorough explanation of the problem and procedure, I was completely at ease. Everything has turned out very well.

Wonderful
He is very smart and I got the impression he truly knows whats best when it comes to my child's eye health and eye issues. The only negative I have is that I dont always feel I understand the total scope of the assessments or diagnosis they make as per the notes on the computer. I feel I sometimes have to prompt explanation. Otherwise, he is wonderful and we so appreciate all he does and has done and will do for our child.

Very satisfied over all with everything. Very pleased when Dr Wiggins called later in the evening after surgery to see how I was doing. His office staff is excellent. Everyone takes the time to listen to my needs.

He took very good care of my 8 year old son.
He has been with my son since the beginning of our vision issue at 2 years old. He is now 8 and had corrective eye surgery. He helped me feel comfortable with the decision to have my son undergo surgery and it was successful.
