Overall great experience
Overall I had a great experience with both hands having the carpal tunnel release surgery. It was done through worker's comp which I know takes some time with getting approvals, but the time and process it was going to take between the two surgeries I wish was better explained. Not a big deal other then the workers comp doctor's plan was to kept me out of work between the two surgeries. After 3 months of being out of work, I had to ask the WC doctor to put me back to work. If I'd have known a bit more of the process, I could have alleviated some of that downtime.
But overall, the surgeries went very well and much less recovery compared to co-workers who had the same surgeries elsewhere. I definitely will recommend Regional Hand Center and Dr. Avena to anyone having carpal tunnel issues.
