Dr Peifer has been wonderful in helping me with my liveer issues. guiding me in how to live a healthier life. He is courteous, friendly speaks to you with terms you can understand. i highly recommend him as your Doctor.

A Step Above and Beyond
My local provider couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, so she sent me to Rockford Gastroenterology. Meeting Dr. Peifer for the first time, not only did he come prepared to discuss my situation and care, but he was willing to listen to my concerns and history instead of just stare at his computer. I felt like a human being instead of another number being pushed through the system. I also like the fact that he is not a pill pusher. He knew that I didn't want to take all of the medications I was on for the rest of my life and was willing to try and wean me off if at all possible. It was because of his plan and care that I am now able to function again without GI pain. He listens to what I have to say while I am here and takes the time needed with his patients.

Dr. Peifer is my all time favorite doctor. I wish he could be my family doctor. Very knowledgeable. He listens to your concerns and offers alternatives. He is very down to earth.

I'm happy with the follow thru. And the explanation of the reason for the follow thru
I was very happy to have the procedure done at Swedish American. Nurses were very though and consulted with Dr. Peifer and he choose to bring in a anatheologist.
