Dr. Smita Ohri, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Ohri for more than 3 years. She has helped me to achieve a renewed feeling of well-being, good health, and confidence. She is incredibly well-versed on a myriad of health topics and offers advice on how to address health concerns with natural solutions. She listens intently and when I leave her office I have a plan to follow that is comprehensive and integrative. I trust her implicitly and am grateful to have her overseeing my health. I am a far more vital person as a result of her care.

I feel like a new person. When I came to Dr Ohri, I was overweight, lacked energy and felt very unhealthy. She listened to me with great patience and asked many relevant questions. She was able to diagnose my problem and put me to the path to health. Following her medical weightloss program I lost 18 lbs in 40 days, whereas I had always struggled in the past with other weightloss programs. I was not tired and infact had more energy during the process!! I am so happy I found her!

Dr. Ohri always goes above and beyond to help you get to the root of your issues and help you feel your best! There may some confusion when communicating with staff after appointments, if you have any follow up questions or need clarity. Wells Pharmacy has been a nightmare to deal with and I think some patients may mistakenly think it is due to the Dr's office. I was just told today that they are switching to a different pharmacy, so I think that should reduce any logistical issues going forward. My only other issue is how costly treatment is. I feel it is worth it to feel your best and experience the energy and health that you should have, but it can sometimes be prohibitively expensive. It would be amazing if Dr. Ohri ever started to accept insurance or if this type of hormonal treatment became mainstream and readily available in traditional medical practices. Overall, Dr. Ohri is wonderful and I will continue to see her as long as I can! I hope this review isn't seen by too many people, as I don't want her to become so popular that I won't be able to get an appointment! ;-)

I had various health issues for a couple years now, issues that only frustrated me in time. I've been to a few doctors within this time span, however, nothing seemed to help me. The greatest thing about Dr. Ohri is that she actually listens to her patience. She spent time with me listening to the problems I had with sleep, appetite, weight gain and more. She helped me to understand that everything has a solution because our bodies are capable of healing itself. We just need the right fuel. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Ohri because she has truly helped me inside and out. Today I feel better than I've felt in a long time. I highly recommend Dr. Ohri to anyone who is looking to feel great again.

Dr Ohri's knowledge and breadth of experience is only surpassed by her compassion and listening skills. I was gaining weight and depressed. My primary care ran labs and told me there was nothing wrong and suggested antidepressants. My search for a better answer brought me to Dr Ohri,who immediately diagnosed me with Hypothyroid (my free T3 was 1.9!) and with proper supplementation and natural thyroid, I feel my life has been given back to me. I recommend her to all my friends!
