Very nice and caring!
I saw him due to kidney inflamation. He explained what was going on with my kidney in a very clearly and easily; he also listened to my questions patiently and took time to address my questions and concerns. Follow ups have also been a good experience as he seems to be as happy as I am when results get better. I always leave him feeling like I am in good hands. Thank you!

Dr. Chevalier is a great doctor. He is caring and speaks to patients on their level. He is very knowledgable on his specialty and I trust the recommendation he gives. He never makes changes without consulting with me first and that makes me feel that he genuinely cares about his patients.

Excellent experience, Great care
I have been seeing Dr. Chevalier for about 3 years. He is my favorite doctor. He is extremely knowledgeable, which is of utmost importance. However, he also has a wonderful bedside manner and ability to translate his knowledge into easy to comprehend, but not oversimplified, language. I always leave his office feeling cared for and understanding my situation and my options. I cannot recommend Dr. Chevalier highly enough. He is an exemplar of how the doctor-patient relationship should be.

A vert positive experience
I just moved to Florida Oct. 2017 ,i was doing good , enjoying my retirement, doing line dancing, Taichi, Bingo, whem all of a sudden April 2018, my blood pressure became uncontrollable, I was seen in the local hospital and was told its probably my kidney. The next day I signed myself out and flew to NYC with my husband and went straight to NYPH , i was seen in the ER and admitted right away , stayed for 1 wk, then follow up the following wk. I was put on heavy dose of steroids for 6 mos and exactly 6 mos i was taken off it and I was doing great , i started with 13 medications and now its down to 5, Last December when they saw me, I was told I was doing so good that I dont need to see them till April 2019. I just saw Dr. James Chevalier and Dr. Shresta and they were amazed how I look now some of their staff didnt recognize me. This whole experience was a positive one and I would highly recommend Dr James Chevalier.
