In addition to belonging to many professional committees and medical associations, Dr. Alexander has authored and co-authored numerous articles for peer-reviewed journals and other publications, including Fertility and Sterility and International Journal of Gynecological Cancer. She has lectured internationally and is a member of several professional societies, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Endocrine Society. She participated in a multicenter study that evaluated patients’ perceptions of embryo cryopreservation, with the goal of improving patient care. The preliminary data of the study was published in Science magazine.
An excellent teacher and compassionate fertility specialist, Dr. Alexander has received numerous awards for her many contributions to the medical field. Her passion for teaching has earned her several “Excellent Teaching Awards” from the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at John Hopkins University School of Medicine and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO).
