I am very pleased with the results of my treatments.
Everyone in the practice was great. They explained the procedures so that I was comfortable with what they would be doing. I had quite extensive work done on the veins in my legs and they look and feel so much better.

Excellent staff and facility and kind doctor
Dr. Tonnessen and his staff are extremely well-prepared, pleasant and professional. Marisa in scheduling and all of the pre and post-op staff are excellent. Th doctor takes the time to listen to one's concerns. I am satisfied with my results.

Wonderful experience!
Everyone at this facility is exceptional. From check in to procedure I was treated with professionalism and kindness. The office works like clockwork, I was treated at my appointment time and the facility is spotless and modern. My procedure was explained in detail and performed as explained. The Vein Institute has excellent physicians and nursing staff and are truly interested in the patient's health and understanding of the problem and procedures. They provide very clear and compassionate descriptions of the medical conditions and treatments.

Groin pain from pregnancy 22 years ago.
My first Ultra sound was done at the HMC rather than at the vein Institute. if you do this procedure, get your ultra sound at the vein institute!!!! The wrong vein was mapped at the HMC and the laser surgery was not done as planned. But Dr Tonnessen recognized this and worked with was what was approved by the insurance company and he did a scelaratherapy on the groin vein that was giving me great pain. My pain was taken away right away! Great staff! Sue is the best ultra sound tech, go with her for all your ultra sounds!
