Dr. Tao is GREAT!
My experience with Dr. Tao was great. I had a prior misdiagnosis, and with my first visit with him in the office he determined I had an ACL tear without looking at any of the other doctors paperwork. GREAT SURGEON!!!!

Right Knee
I can't believe how good I feel. I have not been able to pivit on my knee for quite some time. That was a surprise to me because I thought I would never do that for this knee again.

Dr. Tao was great addressing my problem with my hand and cyst
I had pain in hand thumb and arm- with medical treatment from Dr. Tao - he did surgery and now I'm able to use my hand again. He is great!

Dr. Tao goes straight to the point which I like. Gives explanation of what will and did happen and is easy to understand. He doesn't waste time yet will answer any questions. Lets the patient make the decision and appears willing to work through the problem. Would recommend him to any one.

Amazing!
Dr. Tao is extremely attentive and caring for his patients. I received a phone call directly from him a few days after surgery and also have seen him personally at every visit! This is very different than my previous experience with orthopedic surgeons.

I can't overstate how much my quality of life has improved.
I came in due to difficulty kneeling and standing from a kneeling position as well as constant pain. The problem was diagnosed and I was out of surgery within 3 weeks. My knee pain was remarkably decreased. Physical therapy went very well and I'm now more mobile than I've been since I was a teenager. Thanks so much to Dr. Tao and staff. You have truly changed and improved my life.

Dr Tao is an AMAZING doctor
Going into shoulder surgery, I had heard the horror stories and was expecting a painful recovery. I have been very pleasantly surprised at the lack of pain and the speed of my recovery. Dr. Tao is always willing to listen and answer any questions. You can tell how busy his office is but he never hurries out of the room and on to the next patient. We are very fortunate to have a physician of this quality here in West Virginia!!!!

Diagnosis
I feel like if my insurance would have allowed the MRI earlier that I would have known I had a torn Meniscus. I feel it was not Dr.Tao fault but my insurance. Treatment and surgery has made me feel so much better than I have in a long time.
