My little girl was born with no eye on one side. We really freaked out
I am sharing this story so other people can get some help. When we first saw Dr. Patel at the University of Utah, we were very scared because there was no eye on the right side and the face looked weird. He explained what we should expect and how he was going to help us. Of course we did not believe him!! Trust this doctor and Dr Caruso who has been working with Dr Patel and his team. They have done an amazing job so far. I have told him to give our number to any other parents who might be scared. God bless Dr Patel, his team and Dr Caruso. These are angels to us.

Incredible Surgeon
I cannot thank Dr Patel enough for his knowledge, care, listening skills and meticulous work. I had a facelift a couple of months ago and am very pleased. It looks so natural and fresh. I have been a patient of his for several years, the care he has given me and my family has been invaluable. We consider him a dear friend.

Superb results from Dr Patel
I never saw myself as one who would go for "plastic surgery", but then, I also didn't know the damage chemo would do to my skin: the rapid "aging" was shocking. My eyelids drooped to the point of obscuring my vision, making driving dangerous. I looked tired and angry. I didn't look like "me" anymore.
Dr. Patel's surgical skills have literally changed my life.

I am so happy I did this surgery. I told Dr. Patel I wished he had done it for me years ago and I would have enjoyed it all these years
I had this Hammock lift Dr Patel designed and I had read about. I hesitated because I did not believe the comments by people on the internet: I should have been a believer! I think I look amazing. In fact I look better than photos 25 years ago. And he did something which makes my neck look better and I don't know how he did that because I did not have a necklift or facelift. All I can say is I am so glad I did this

I came from Texas to have my facelift with Dr Patel because my friend got such a beautiful result. I was nervous being in a different State and staying in a hotel but everything went smoothly I was not disappointed.
My result is more than I expected. Dr. Patel took care of a lot of little things I had going on (chin lines, pores, some bumps, frown lines and more) which was a surprise because nobody does anything for free in Texas! The team communicates amazingly well and I always felt like everyone truly cared. I forget the name of the lady who guided me through everything but I wanted to recognize her help. I wish I could come down and have my lasers done there

Sometimes I wish we had honest doctors like this doctor
After getting two opinions, I was told all the things I needed. Only one thing bothered me but I was told I needed all the other things. Of course they would charge me for it. I only wanted what the insurance would cover and finally I found Dr Patel on Google. His secretary explained to me that they will give an opinion if I went in. I was hesitating as i would have to have another visit and almost just went ahead and had surgery by one of the other doctors. That would have been a BIG mistake. After meeting with Dr Patel and his team, I felt very comfortable and they explained to me that all I needed was just upper lid surgery to let me see better and it would be covered. I felt a great relief as I did not want to have all the other procedures I was told I needed. I have now had it and it is only a few weeks but I am so happy. I feel like going to the other doctors to show them how well I am doing and tell them not to say wrong things to their patients.

I was in a bunch of pain for several weeks. I saw four doctors and was given drops and lotion and nothing helped. My GP in Las Vegas said I should go see this doctor in Salt Lke but I thought it was too far to go. My wife forced me to go. And..
my pain is gone and I am fixed. This doctor not only made the correct diagnosis, he made time to add me on as an emergency and waited for my covid test into the evening so I could be helped and could go back home to Vegas. My wife asked Dr Patel if we could just come and see him for our medical care and he said "only if it is plastic surgery help you need!" We will never forget what he did. His helper was a doctor who was also very good but I dont know her name. I am ashamed that I was getting angry because we had to wait before being seen as the clinic was busy. I could write much more.

Oh my god: I am sooooo happy. I wanted to thank Dr. Patel for all the training and experience that he has and for using it on us who need his help
This man is brilliant. I love the way he works with his team. They are always so happy. And they tease each other. I want to work with them. More importantly, I cannot believe how well he has fixed me. Thank you to everyone and also Abraham who is the best assistant (I think he is Dr Patel's assistant) I have ever come across.

I love what Dr Patel did for me. I am now comfortable but also look very good (I think anyway)
Dr Patel's team told me I was not allowed to hug him because of this virus infection. I hugged him any way. He is a great man.

Sometimes taking a plane ride is good
I have had a problem all my life. Sitting next to a doctor, we got talking. After I had talked too much, he told me "go see this doctor in Salt Lake City. He will know what to do". Well, best plane ride ever. When I was going home after surgery, the flight attendant saw my dressing and asked if I was ok. When I told her I had surgery, she wanted to know how. When I told her, she said, "Oh, we have seen his patients flying before! We hear he is very good". Amazing. Flying is good for you. The only negative was I had to wait to get an appointment.

I have had different shapes to my brows and eyelids all my life. I was told I would just have to live with it as nothing could be done
I reluctantly came to see yet another doctor at the University (Dr Patel). After a detailed explanation, I was more educated about what was going on. I discussed it with my family and decided to have surgery. I cannot be happier. I actually look like I wanted to look. My friends cannot believe it. I have told everyone at work that if they need a plastic surgeon, there is only one person they should see: Dr. Patel. Jill was very helpful with explaining the way things would work, so thank you to her and the other people I saw in clinic. Thank you very much

I could not believe how well I was treated....
Dr. Patel clearly has an amazing team. Abraham was wonderful and efficient. His receptionist (cannot remember her name) was also so polite and efficient. The whole team works like a machine. They also took the growths out for me the same day and treated me so well. Great doctor and wonderful team. I was going to write to the boss but I don't know who that would be!

I don't write reviews but I had to say this
I had injections by several doctors for my spasms and got no relief. I was told "injections don't work on you". I reluctatly agreed to one last doctor and was not happy because I had to drive from Montana to see him. I was grumpy and annoyed the whole time he saw me and discussed the condition. I had heard it all before. He told me "trust me, I will help you". I think he meant "I WILL help you"! Hallelujah: his injections work, I can see, I am human again. I am so sorry for being so nasty to everyone when I came to see you Dr Patel. God bless you and all your staff. I cannot say enough about your amazing team and your skills. Next time I am going to bring you home made jerky and potatoes from my farm.

A review of my Hammock lift
I am very happy with the result of my full Hammock lift. I should point out that some of the swelling takes a few weeks to settle. And the skin that is lasered will stay pink for a few weeks. I read all the instructions before surgery but did not realize that this takes a few weeks to heal. Also, the vision is blurry for the first few weeks. I was able to work within a few days but I had to blink a lot because of the tears. I think I should have listened to all the instructions and what to expect more carefully. BUT, I am very happy. I am going to have my lower face and necklift done in a few months. Also, there is a reason why this doctor is popular. Don't be surprised if you have to wait to get an appointment. But worth it. I met many of his patients and they all had nice things to say.

Thank you for fixing my buggy eyes
Thyroid eyes are so bad: I had to learn to be patient. I was getting frustrated by now I know why Dr. Patel made me wait until the time was right. He did a beautiful job. I almost look like I did before, and in some ways better! My husband tells me Dr. Patel has made me more patient!

Wonderful doctor. Has a great sense of humor
Dr. Patel also has a wonderful team who have looked after me for some years now and kept me going! I know he is a plastic surgeon but I wish he was my knee doctor too!

I was surprised to get several calls from the doctor to check up on me
I don't think I have ever received a call from the doctor him or herself. He also gave me advice about something not related to his plastic surgery and even called the doctor who he referred me to. Great service. Abraham in his clinic is wonderful.

I told Dr Patel he wasn't a surgeon, he was a magician
I am not sure how he got rid of the large growth on my face and how he repaired me but nobody can tell I had anything done. I am still amazed. I told his trainee doctor who first examined me today that he should learn everything Dr Patel can teach him as he is clearly training with the best! I am so grateful that Dr. Patel is at the Moran Center. His technician Abraham is also wonderful. I don't normally write reviews but I wanted to share my experience

Dr. Patel did a great facelift for me.
I was nervous about getting a facelift and waited many years. My golfing partners had their facelifts and when I heard it was Dr. Patel who I had already seen, I just signed up. Great choice!! Remember to listen to his advice about how to look after your skin and your neck after surgery. I was not good but still got a great result! Thank you to Dr. Patel and his team

I know there are big problems but I want to show my gratitude to Abraham, Jill, Dena, the assistant (don't remember her name) and Dr. Patel for the wonderful care they have given me for several years and fixed me more than once. The University is lucky to have this great team. Even with all the stress, they treated me so graciously today. THANK YOU for being the best.

I couldn't get the surgical date I wanted. But worth waiting for. Nice result with my upper and lower lids
My heavy lids made me look sad but the baggy lower lids made me look old. I am glad I got both fixed. I can see better and look better. I had a bit of a wait in the clinic both times I was there recently.

Got my botched face surgery fixed by the Patel team at the University of Utah. Diana and Abraham were wonderful. Took me 7 years to finally find a surgeon who knew how to fix me. Worth the long drive.

I am two months after my Hammock Lift: I am very happy.
The difference in my face is more than I expected (in a good way). The bad: some swelling took longer to settle than I expected and the laser area pinkness settles more slowly than I thought. But the results are wonderful. Great team at the surgical center

I can see and everyone tells me I look 10 years younger. No complaints. Dr. Patel is great. Warning: if you have to wait for an appointment, it is worth it!!

There is a reason I came from California to have my facelift done by Dr. Patel
He is a perfectionist. Unlike my other consults, I did not have to talk to several people upselling me or wanting to have me do more and more. He said "I will do your facelift and necklift: leave it to me". Best sentence ever: he fixed my cheeks, my lower lids, spots on the face, my lip lines, my jowls are gone and I look 20 years younger. His young trainee doctor thought I was 45. I am 69!

My experience was excellent and I was looked after very well.
My surgery went very well but I had a wait in the clinic which is why I did not give five stars. Dr. Patel is very good but I think that is why he is busy and you may have to wait to see him. I am naturally impatient!
