Excellent experience from first visit thru surgery aftercare
I did quite a bit of research before picking my first visit, and I now can see why Dr. Horwitz is so highly rated. Dr. Horwitz and his whole team have been an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout all of my visits. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room, and Dr. Horwitz has never made me feel rushed during any appointments. I needed surgery on both of my feet, and I have zero complaints about the process. I would highly recommend Dr. Horwitz to anyone that is having foot issues.

I should of never waited so long!
I am 56 and have been dealing with plantar facitis off and on for 4-5 years. I tried everything. Rest, boot, icing, cortizone shots, etc. I researched the ESWT treatment and sought out Dr. Horwitz. After one visit, we scheduled the treatment. Had the treatment. It was tender for about 5 days, but no pain. Week 2 it felt good. In 3 weeks I traveled to Palm Springs and walked 9 holes of golf with NO PAIN.. I am a true believer and my friends are asking what I did to get this kind of recovery so quickly. Highly recommend Dr. Horwitz and ESWT!

Great Results
Came to Dr. Horwitz for a bone spur on the top of my foot. All aspects of treatment have been great. His staff is very friendly and have been very helpful.

Trusting, Accurate, Nice Doctor
Dr Horwitz helped me so much! I was in great pain and terrified of surgery. With his explanation and knowledge I went forward with surgery on my foot for a tailors bunion and Morton's Neuroma. While I'm still recovering, I've very happy with the results. He's in a hurry sometimes so make sure you have your questions written down so you don't forget to ask anything. Office staff are great at both locations and they switch between them also. Very nice and helpful. Available by phone or email. I definitely recommend. Offices are clean. Chesterfield is modern. Delmar is a little dated but still nice and clean.

I can walk like normal again!
Wow --- my plantar fasciitis was incredibly painful, but after working with Dr. Horowitz and following the course of treatment, my pain was relieved and I'm on the path to running again! He gave me some good advice and set me up with some great PT. I can't believe I waited so long to make an appointment.

Very professional, Gets right to the problem!
Dr Horwitz took care of bunions, neuromas, laser treatment of toenail fungus with ongoing home treatment. My neuroma pain is gone, I am enjoying wearing shoes again, and my toenail fungus is disappearing! I had bunions removed 20 years ago at Feet for Life and I'm glad I returned to have outside bunions taken care of.

The pain is gone!
I cannot believe how easy this experience was. I had been in pain for going on two years. After a simple one week recovery in a boot, all of the pain from the plantar fasciitis is history. I would strongly recommend Dr. Horwitz and this procedure.

I had a great experience.
I had stents placed in both ankles to help with arch support. I had hammer toe correction to 3 toes on each feet. My recovery time was was right on target with what was explained to me at me initial consultation. My overall experience was great! I think it was well worth it!

good experience from a capable doctor
Dr. Horwitz diagnosed my neuroma almost immediately and provided options for treatment allowing me to think through and make the right choice for me. When I had a small issue after surgery, one of the nurses willingly came in on her day off to take care of me. The staff is nice and personable and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process.

hairline fracture - metatarsal
I always come to Dr Horwitz for my foot issues. He fixed my plantar fasciitis with Hyprocure implants in 2012, so I continue to return with any issues. He is so knowledgeable and works for a permanent solution.

Why did I wait so long
I had been told all the horror stories about how horrible this surgery is (bunionectomy and hammer toe). I actually walked out of surgery, was driving in two weeks and only took two pain pills. Dr. Horwitz was awesome and I'd recommend the surgery to anyone. Don't put it off!!!

Came for right foot & ankle pain
Dr. Horwitz listen and narrowed down the problem within a matter of minutes. I appreciate him taking the time and being gentle. Within a few days I was walking and moving like I was 25.

Overall satisfied with procedure and results
Dr. Horwitz is a leader in his field, experienced, knowledgeable and did a quality job on my bunion removal/correction.
Satisfied with his work and I've already recommended him to others.
I did have to ask for specifics of expected financials upfront as I read online that facility costs are extra. Twice it was recorded that I did not have a drug allergy when I am allergic to penicillin.
Surgery nurses and anesthesia staff all very polite and professional. Great staff. Tina expert at taking x-rays; she's the only staff to remember to give me the lead vest.

Doc with GREAT Bed-Side Manner
I started seeing Dr. Horwitz's roughly 15 years ago... Always a great experience. Never have I had the feeling of being rushed or a long wait time. He's engaged with his patients i.e., concerns, challenges they are experiencing. As long as he's in practice, I will NEVER seek out another Podiatrist!!!

Found Fracture
Dr. Horwitz found a fracture that urgent care missed twice. It's now healed and I'm back to normal. His staff is amazing as well.

Chemical In-grown Toenail Procedure

toe feels much better
i had a bone spur on inside of my left little toe. It feels much better now. It had hurt most of the time before and toe was always an angry red. Hopefully, this is good from now on.

heel fracture
i was not an established patient and called on a saturday for an emergency appointment and was gotten in that same day, after an injury. The staff was great: very friendly and helpful. Dr Horwitz diagnosed a heel fracture and I was put in a boot and was mobile again! Great experience and great physician. So happy I came here.

I've been coming to Dr.Horwitz for years now due to a suggestion from a former co-worker,and as they say the rest is history. He is a wonderful person who really takes the time to listen to and address all your concerns. If I hear anyone complaining about any foot pain(even if their not talking to me) I'm quick to suggest the services of Dr.Horwitz

still healing but on the right track
i have been recovering from surgery on my little toe, but re-injured it. Surgery site didn't hurt, but swelling occurred after injury. Dr. Horwitz got me right in, prescribed treatment and sent me on my way. Optimistic I will be fine soon!

Wonderful Doctor
I was not surprised by the great service. I read the reviews ahead of my selection of a foot doctor. He got right to the to the problem and got it fixed! I had an upcoming vacation and I limped around everywhere. After 1 visit I am able to walk without pain and wear shoes other than my tennis shoes. I am very pleased with his service and concern for his patient.

Very Happy patient
He provided me with a clear and easy-to-follow set of instructions, and kick-started my cure process with a sanding and laser treatment of my toenails. Follow-up visits were quick and efficient, and he encouraged me to continue following the instructions, which I did. All good now.

bunion and deformed 2 toe
Straightened my toes and both now look and feel wonderful. I had some swelling that concerned me two weeks after surgery he listened gave me some cortisone and wrapped the lower leg and foot and this took care of it. He knows what he is doing.

Bunion Surgery
