I had an amazing experience

Everything seems to be going very well. (implants)
I have done quite a bit of research and review myself on this type of procedure. I chose Dr. Horwitz because he was the closet doctor to me that does this procedure and had also done more of these procedures than others. I think this time we have it figured out and hopefully all will be good. I am walking more and doing some walking for exercise now, which I couldn't do it before.

Bunion Surgery - Can't believe how fast I returned to normal life
I was surprised at the minimal amount of pain post bunion surgery. I was off my pain meds in less than a week, but stayed on anti-inflamatories for a month. Biggest relief was to be back into flat shoes in 8 weeks post-op. This was pricey - but worth it.
Helpful hint: I was given a walking boot for a month or so. But I also purchased a surgical shoe which I wore to bed and around the house.

Pain in feet and ankle area
I was experiencing pain in both ankles and wasn't receiving any relief. Dr. Horwitz gave me a plan of action to fix the situation. Within a few weeks I saw a considerably amount of difference of how my feet and ankle felt. They had not felt this good in months.

Pain in the big toe joint
I came in with pain in my big toe joint. After taking an xray, we discussed the potential need for surgery to correct my issue. However, to first rule out soft tissue damage. I received a cortisone shot. After about 7 days, I noticed significant improvement in my pain. I am about 90% after 2 weeks.

Plantar Fascia and Heel Spur
By the time I came in to see Dr Horwitz I'd tried home remedies that weren't working for me. The pain had gotten to the point of being debilitating.
The my outpatient surgery I felt immediate relief and within 2-3 months full recovery.

foot hasn't felt this good in a long time.
extreme pain in foot whether walking or sitting. Thought maybe I had a stress fracture. xray taken, found no stress fracture. received a cortisone shot. My foot feels great. Back in the gym and walking.

Fabulous experience
I came to Dr. Horwitz after a different doctor had done a previous bunionectomy. The difference between the two was stark. Dr. Horwitz listened to what I was saying, answered my questions, explained thoroughly and did what he said. This time the surgery went great and the healing has been rapid and life changing. I absolutely recommend him for any of your foot problems.
The staff is also great--they are nice, thoughtful and caring.

Bunion and Hammertoe
I put this surgery off for years. Really shouldn't have! I am so pleased with my "quick" results. I walked out of surgery and only had one day of pain (day two). Dr. Horwitz assured me I'd be willing to come back for my left foot and he was right! If you have a bunion, don't put it off like I did!

Excellent care
I had a severe fracture of my fifth toe, which resulted in a lot of swelling. Dr. Horwitz recommended wrapping and injections, and now I can wear my shoes again!

Great Overall Experience
My overall experience with Dr. Horwitz and his team was excellent! Everything was explained to me clearly and all of my questions were answered thoroughly. I truly appreciated the next-day follow up after surgery, as the nurse was able to answer all of my additional questions regarding recovery.
