A very skilled and personable doctor.
I have had several procedures with Dr. Kokko. He is a skilled hand surgeon who is easy to talk to. I enjoy my visits with him. His staff is wonderful as well.

Wonderful experience
Dr. Kokko was able to effectively treat, diagnose and relieve my hand pain and swelling. He and his office staff were top notch in customer service and expertise. I did require surgery and that experience was also quick and very professional.

strong personal/bedside manner skills, good communication, efficiientt
excellent with the exception of poor signage which indicates Suite 101. after waiting at Suite 101 check in desk for several mins was advised to go down the hall to Kokko's office. this is minor but a bit frustrating, especially since it is a first impression

Working with Dr. Kokko and Hand Institute of Charleston has been the easiest and BEST experience I've ever had with a doctor's office and or surgery!! I had full felling back in my hand and was able to start using it within twenty-four hours of surgery!!!!

Great patient care and attention to detail!
Coming in with a very old injury, I was nervous as to the outlook and recovery process that I would be facing moving forward. Other doctors that I met with were not amazing at instilling confidence in my recovery but Dr. Kokko went above and beyond to not only make me feel comfortable and confident in my treatment plan but to limit my anxiety surrounding surgical intervention!

The staff and Dr. Kokko were wonderful and surgery went great
I was worried but with the staff and Dr.Kokko I knew I was in good hands. The are so good and the bed side manner of all is what patients would hope for. I am planning surgery for the other hand and would use noone but them.

Great, exceptional.
It was a great experience. Dr. Kokko is a terrific Dr. His bedside manner is one of the best I have experienced. His whole staff is a joy to see, the are all so friendly and wonderful to work with.
