Great relief both physically & emotionally
I came to AOS after a recommendation from another provider to undergo major back surgery with a very long recovery. AOS put this into perspective for me in terms of immediate medical need, my age, and other options such as Dr. Sanderlin’s services with pain management. I am relieved not to be having surgery and am now pain free after months of hardly being able to get out of bed.

Tried a second time
Went to Dr Sanderlin in December 2021. He described my symptoms right away. Tried a nerve block first. Unfortunately did not work like we had hoped. 1/12/22 received an epidural steroid injection. So far seems to be better than the nerve block but will take several days before I know for sure whether it has worked. Dr Sanderlin is definitely skilled his field. The epidural steroid injection was far less painful than the nerve block. Definitely a little sore the day after. Hoping for a positive outcome. Thank you Dr Sanderlin for all your efforts to get me back on track.

My experience with Dr. Sanderlin is ALWAYS WONDERFUL!
His staff is very warm and friendly. He listens to my complaints about my pain and is able to understand exactly what I’m trying to explain to him. Being a little skittish about getting shots in my back, he calmed my nerves and I actually didn’t feel as much pain from him as I have in the past from other doctors. He plays music or allows me to play music from my phone to help calm my nerves during the procedure which is HUGE!
