Choosing Dr.Charles Thompson as my surgeon was the best decision I could have ever made. Throughout this process and after, Dr.Thompson and his staff have always been available to answer any questions or concerns I have had. They are always very professional but also very caring. I am very appreciative of Dr.Thompson and Clarity Surgical.

Before you roll your eyes at a 5-star review, please know I almost never leave reviews of anything, but this time I had to. I met Dr. Thompson after visiting the ER with pain and being admitted to hospital for gallbladder disease. In the midst of Covid, I sat in the ER alone, flooded with emotion as I had a 12 day old baby at home and was being told I needed surgery. That night I spoke to Dr. Thompson on the phone who explained my situation to me and told me he would be performing my surgery the following day. The next evening, when no transporter was available to take me to the operating room, Dr. Thompson came to my hospital room and wheeled me, bed and all to the operating room. Surgery was a success and I got home to my baby the same night, something I told Dr. Thompson was important to me. Follow-up was phenomenal; the doctor was even reachable at 3am, no attitude, no problem, The office staff are so pleasant and I am grateful this team got me through some of my toughest days!

Dr. Thompson made me feel like I was in control and helped me to understand my procedure. He explained each step and gave me a sense of calm going into an emergency surgery. He checked in on me and gave me his direct line in order to be able to contact him if I had any questions or concerns.

The whole process was great and to the point. In just a few weeks I had a visit, a testing appointment, my diagnosis and a scheduled surgery. It was only two in-person appointments and some phone calls.
