He always listens and provides accurate details about what is going on. He has been able to tackle many different issues and treat them holistically.

Friendly, painless and helpful.
He knows what I need to help the pain in my back. He explained everything as the procedure went along. He makes sure you are comfortable and feel ok. He spends time with you and answers questions. I very seldom have to wait. For me it’s been an amazing positive experience and my pain has improved 99.9 percent!

Excellent care, excellent staff
I’ve had terrible SI joint point off and on for many years. Following a recent backpacking trip the pain had intensified to the point that a simple SI joint injection didn’t resolve the pain. Dr. Chen developed a new treatment plan and following implementation of this new plan I was able to get back to being active almost immediately.

Professional staff and consistently very aware of my needs.
I have experienced chronic pain for years and seek pain control mot relief. I know I will love in pain, they have given me education and encouragement to continually find ways to work with pain without just relying on medication. I appreciate what I learn from this staff

Won’t go back
Dr Chen was good and helpful but his assistant and office staff have no clue what they are doing. Was supposed to be scheduled for an mri and none scheduled. When call his office they acted like they had no idea what they were doing

Great he is one of the few doctors that LISTEN
Great service have been dealing with pain management since the age of 13 seen many doctors many different treatments most doctors don’t listen to their patients they just follow what’s in the book but the doctors at Alta pain will actually listen to wear how bad how often and how it affects the rest of your life and activities and then what your expectations are and they work very hard to achieve what you are asking for not what the new cool treatment is today overall wonderful experience

Very pleasant and caring

Started off a little rocky, via the scheduling coordinators answering the phones. The medical staff, including but not limited to, the Doctors, PA's, MA's, have been top notch. Going above and beyond just pain management. As per the phones, Dr. Chin listened, and made staff changes.
