Excellent Skilled Surgeon
I broke my wrist for the 2nd time. Dr Zaino put a plate in to hold my bone together enabling me to have light use of it while the bones healed. Thank god for such a skilled surgeon. Now my bones are all healed and I have full use back.

Clavicle Fracture
I came to see Dr. Zaino with a clavicle fracture where the bone had separated. He instantly recognized it as the type of fracture requiring surgery. I was very skeptic of having surgery but he gave me time to think it over. When it showed no change, I agreed to allow him to perform the surgery. I listened to all of his instructions from there out and made a very quick recovery. I trust him and would return for any future fractures.

Great doctor, great staff, reasonable cost with Aetna insurance
I originally went to doctor Zaino because he had excellent reviews from patients, and he did not disappoint. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, and once there he quickly and effectively diagnosed my broken metacarpal, even correcting a mistake made by an urgent care I originally went to (I should have just gone directly to Dr Zaino). He even had something I'd never heard of to immobilize my hand (called the knuckle) that was much more comfortable than a cast or plaster/ace bandage, and I was able to remove it when I showered.
The office staff was extremely friendly and always made me feel welcomed, the location is easy to get to, and the out of pocket cost was very reasonable even with the cheapest Aetna insurance.
I don't like having to go to any doctor, but Dr. Zaino and his staff made it as pleasant as it could possibly be.

Amazing Surgeon and outstanding bedside manner.
I'm a surgical trauma nurse and without Dr.Zaino my career would be over. He saved my thumb which was a very complicated and unique case. I had an open displaced fracture that went misdiagnosed by another MD for over a month. Dr. Zaino saw me right away and spent so much time explaining everything to me and was very empathetic and informative regarding the situation and what needed to be done. He got me into the OR immediately, reassured me through the whole process, when it came to surgery he did an amazing job, very thorough and I healed very well post op. I highly recommend Dr. Zaino for any hand or upper extremity surgery, without him I literally would have lost my thumb and if this surgery was not done correctly being so unique I would have had many complications. He made me feel so comfortable before, during and after the whole process. Very happy with him as a person and as a surgeon.

The Doctor I needed to fix my hand!
After initially having my injury somewhat misdiagnosed, I came to Dr. Zaino for a second opinion. I do not regret that decision one bit. He listened to me carefully as I explained the situation with my hand/finger. Something that struck me was that he actually listened when I mentioned the research I had done on my own to see what kind of injury it was. The next time I saw him he had printed out articles relating to that research to go over it with me. Definitely made a positive impact. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a more helpful doctor.

Professional, thorough, caring
From the introduction Dr. Zaino diagnosed and developed a plan of action for my hand surgery. He fit me into a busy schedule and into the surgical center promptly. Prior to surgery I had no function of the tendon and post surgery and heal time had been restored. I am very satisfied with the care.

Dr. Zaino treated me for a broken hand. His diagnosis was clearly explained giving me the confidence that I was in the right hands. He spent the time with me I needed with each visit and now I'm on my way to a complete recovery. I will recommend him to my friends and family.

Great Doctor and Orthopedic Group
Dr. Zaino treated me for a wrist fracture following an automobile accident. He was highly professional and explained the treatment process thoroughly. Although not directly related to his care, the others in his practice (medical assistant, scheduler, receptionists, etc..) offered top-quality service.

Amazing Doctor and staff
I can't say enough about Dr. Zaino!!! When I fell he took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do. I had a tattoo that i was afraid would be destroyed by surgery. He took his time making sure it wasn't, lines were lined back up. Everything healed nicely!! Thank you Dr. Zaino i appreciate everything you did for me!!

outstanding experience
broken scaphoid, extreme pain. Was fortunate enough to get right in with Dr. Zaino and received instant relief with a correct brace and surgery the following week. Extremely clear and precise was the whole experience. Never felt rushed and always took the time to check every detail. Hopefully I won't be seeing his courteous staff anymore but I felt like I was the only thing that mattered the whole process.

Fantastic - Exceeded expectations
I came in with an injury that was more significant than I had realized. Dr. Zaino was very clear in giving me all my options, pros and cons of each, with no pressure to go in any specific direction (though he of course gave his professional opinion of which he considered best and why).
The surgery went exceedingly well, and the follow-up visits were quick and painless. Two months out of surgery, and everything is looking really good. Could not be happier with this experience.

Great experience with Dr. Zaino
After dislocation in the pinky, Dr. Zaino was able to see my son immediately, and fix the dislocation. He also made sure nothing else was wrong and took all the precautions need. Not to mention made my son feel good about the visit.

Wonderful Doctor and Staff. Highly Recommend.
Dr. Zaino is one of the best Specialists I have had to experience. He treated my daughters condition with care and professionalism.
He is a fantastic surgeon, and my daughter healed quickly and with little discomfort.
The staff here is friendly. The OT team was great with my girl, and she is 7 years old. not an easy patient. I recommend Dr. Zaino and his team. We have had great results.

Great Experience
From the first time I met Dr Zaino to my last visit, he had been very concerned about my well being. From his initial diagnosis about how long surgery would be and how the scars would be were correct. I was informed of eveything along the way. Their were no surprises. Dr. Zaino is wonderful!
Dr. Zaino treated our six-year old in an emergency situation. He clearly explained all of the steps that needed to take place to help him and made all of us feel very comfortable that we were receiving the best care possible. He has worked with us during all of our post-op care and we feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor!

100% Satisfaction
Today 12/19 is exactly 2 weeks since Dr. Zaino had performed surgery on my hand for carpal tunnel. From the first time I saw him to my final follow up visit with him, he took the time to listen to all my concerns as well as answer any questions I had. Wonderful Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Zaino was very attentive, knowledgeable, and caring. His bedside manners are exceptional. His staff was friendly and very welcoming. They always ensured my son was well taken care of.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Zaino. He was thorough, and took the time to connect with my teenage son.
My son went in for surgery on his right hand. We were kept well informed from start to finish. Everyone we encountered during the process was pleasant and attentive to my son's needs. Dr. Zaino went as far as sending my son a get well card. We would definitely recommend Dr. Zaino and the Orthopedic institute.

Dr. Zaino couldn't have been nicer, more compassionate, skilled and caring.
This was the first time I have ever broken anything and didn't know what to expect. Dr. Zaino was so caring, thorough and skilled that I was confident I was in the right hands. My wrist was broken in a few places and a plate and screws had to be put in. My wrist today is great, there is nothing I can't do with it and I owe it to Dr. Zaino. I can't recommend him enough.

Beyond my expectations
I fell and broke my hand and was recommended to this surgeon by a friend. He quickly diagnosed the problem and layed out a plan of what steps we needed to take. This included surgery which turned out very well. He communicated with me throughout the recovery process and made everything very easy. I would highly recommend Dr. Zaino to anyone with a broken hand.

Hand numbness and pain is cured!
I saw Dr Zaino for excruciating hand pain and numbness which he treated with a cortisone shot. The treatment did the trick and my hand has returned to its normal self. Thank you Dr. Zaino.

Injury with a great outcome
I had a great experience with Dr. Zaino. Never having any kind of hand injury before, I didn't know what to expect when I came to see him. He didn't rush into surgery like some doctors might do and took a conservative approach and here I am good to go. I highly recommend Dr. Zaino to anyone.
