Great hand surgeon; was able to put me back together!
I recently suffered a very significant fracture to my left wrist. I made an app't with Dr. Zaino after several people highly recommended him. I was not disappointed. He really took the time to explain my options and possible long term outcomes, which allowed me to make the best decision for me. Dr. Zaino and his staff went above and beyond to make sure I would get the necessary surgery to restore my wrist function. My recovery was a long one, but I had little to no pain throughout. He was even able to put my wrist tattoo back together perfectly! I will always be grateful to Dr. Zaino and his staff for putting me back to back together!

Great Doctor
Being a 19 year old in the trades requires me to use my right hand a lot so when i needed surgery requiring 5 pins I was worried but with the help of Dr. Zaino and his assistants I was able to make a full fast recovery with not a single problem. Dr. Zaino is an all around 10/10 Doctor.

Most Supportive
I had a problem with my hand that has been haunting me since I was a child. I tried dealing with it when I was in high school but the issue kept coming back. When I met Dr.Zaino my anxiety fell. He was very calm and explained what the issue could be and what could have caused it. I had surgery eventually and he did a great job with the sutures. His practical skills are awesome but he really has exceptional people skills. He would always be transparent with me about certain things which I really appreciate. His staff in the office are great too! Lovely people and nice to talk to.

Tremendous experience with Dr. Zaino from start to finish. It took me 2 years to look for the right surgeon to do the thumb fusion surgery, then I found the perfect one. Thank you, Dr. Zaino. You're the best!

Seriously I had no intention of even going to a doctor after I mashed my thumb in the car door. After a doctor visit,X-Ray and splint I was off to Dr Zaino. Excellent office visit, excellent surgery, excellent follow up. Can't say anything more.Five stars all around!

I am very happy with my treatment and my outcome from surgery.
Dr. Zaino and all the staff were wonderful. They were very professional and very helpful. I wasnt sure how my wrist and surgery would end up, but I am very happy with the results and am so relieved I will be normal again.

Excellent experience
Dr. Zaino was a pleasure to deal with as my doctor. He was always available and made sure I understood everything about the procedure I had and the aftercare. I trust him completely and would definitely recommend him for excellent care. My issue with carpal tunnel in both hands has been resolved following surgery and I have complete range of motion again.

Tricep tendon rupture
I had such a great 1st experience with The Orthopedic Institute of NJ that I knew I be taken care of when rupturing my tricep tendon. Dr. Zaino was available to see me right away and knew right there I was in good hands. The repair was successful and am happy throughout the whole healing process. I had a very positive experience with Dr. Zaino.
After a fall on the sidewalk, resulting in a "bad break" of my left wrist, I was able to schedule an appointment and see Dr. Christian Zaino very soon after calling his office. As a professional flutist, it was devastating to to think I might not be able to perform again, giving up my work and all the social connections therein. Dr. Zaino "put me back together" during a 2-1/2 hour surgery. After follow-up visits with Dr. Zaino and approximately 3 months of hand therapy at Atlantic Health I played my first concert and have continued successfully with the orchestra. I am very grateful to have my life back!

Professional and Exceptional
Dr. Zaino took on my case after much research to be sure that the surgery was a success. I had a pinky finger fracture that was challenging to surgically fix. He explained what to expect and after a few months, I almost have a full range of motion.
Dr. Zaino is approachable and friendly. I would recommend him for any hand/ finger issues!

When faced with the thought of surgery, the road ahead seems intimidating and confusing. Now on the back-end of a 3 month process, I wanted to share feedback on Dr. Zaino. From day one, he explained everything to me in a way I could understand. We reviewed options, although there weren't many realistic ones to consider, and most importantly, he explained why. He enabled me to understand what would occur at each phase of surgery and recovery. And he was spot-on with everything, with all details covered. severley fractured left elbow
I was referred to Dr. Zaino by another orthopedic doctor for repair of my left elbow. Thanks to Dr. Zaino's innovative technique I now have my elbow back and functioning. His care was amazing and he never rushed me through an appointment. He showed me my xrays while explaining all of the procedures in detail. His friendly demeanor and warm caring personality helped to get me through a tough time. I would never hesitate to recommend him!

Middle Trigger Finger & Ganglion Cyst
Dr Zaino was patient and personable as I processed through 2 injections and a couple years of ups and downs with treatment of trigger finger and increased discomfort in my right (dominant) hand. Surgery went smoothly and the site was looking remarkably well after one week.
Enjoyed the working relationship with Dr. Zaino and his staff--both at the office and at Sparta Surgical Center***. Returning to work after two weeks feeling well on the road to recovery.

Dr. Zaino has performed a miracle in putting my wrist back together. have full functionality and am over the moon with the surgical and occupational therapy results.

Trifecta...Great staff, great Dr., great referral.
I had a severe wrist injury. The staff is outright friendly, and that makes the whole process better for me as a patient. Always helpful explaining my EOB's. Dr. Zaino is helpful, thorough and friendly. He's very patient. Finally, the rehab referal to Ivy Rehab was spot on.

I came to see Dr Zaino with two broken wrists. I was immediately put to ease with the whole office They were all so kind and Dr Zaino clearly explained what needed to be done. I had surgery on the one wrist at the surgery center and again was meet with the most professional care. They all went above to make you feel at ease and clearly explained everything. Cant thank them enough!

Great Surgeon!
I am 72 years old and fell and broke my Ulna in my left forearm. Not knowing a surgeon I wound up having my breaks fixed by Dr. Zaino. I can only say that God brought me to him and the result and outcome is fantastic! He is a great surgeon and a very fine man. Example of this: How many surgeons write you a thank you after surgery for having confidence in him? Dr. Zaino is a very humble (but highly skilled) man and I would recommend him to anybody who has experienced a trauma and needs surgery.

Everyone was caring and professional, Dr., x-ray technicians, office personel. I never felt rushed. Time was taken to answer all my questions. Considering how tramatic the fall itself and the resultant injury was, the care I received was wonderful.
