Tremendous care from Dr Zaino!!
I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the care and outcome of the corrective surgery performed by Dr. Zaino. Always willing to explain and spend whatever time is required. He is kind and compassionate as well and genuinely cares about his patients.

Dr. Zaino was great.
At my first visit with Dr. Zaino, I was opposed to surgery. But he explained everything and advised surgery was needed. My surgery went well and 3 months later I have very little limitations and my scar is very neat. I would highly recommend him.

Wrist Pain
Came to see Dr. Zaino with some wrist pain, and it turned out I was diagnosed with a rare disease on my left wrist (Kienbock Disease) where my lunate bone was not receiving blood and the bone had decayed. Dr. Zaino was super helpful guiding me thru everything, answering all my questions, and helping me make the best and right decisions. I am now 6 months after surgery and pain free, with a great recovering. I highly recommend him. He also was very attentive with the cosmetic part of my scar. It looks amazing. Thank you Dr Zaino for your great work.

My experience with Dr Zaino was incredible.
I never broke a bone before so I was scared. Dr Zaino made me feel comfortable, safe, and at ease. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood step by step. I hardly have a scar either! I would highly recommend.

I was treated like a person
Since day one Dr. Zaino was very receptive to my issue. My biggest fear was possible surgery and long time recovery but He gave great hope as he asked me to follow his instructions for a better and best recovery. I am very thankful of him

The best I could hope for after breaking both wrists
I had immediate and comprehensive care after breaking both my wrists. This included a fast track for covid testing and operation done asap. The results have been more than I had hoped for. Aftercare was excellent.

Made a scary experience very easy to go through
Dr. Zaino explained the procedure to me in a way that I understood. He made sure I had everything I needed for a fast recovery. I had very little pain post op with the protocol he gave me to follow. He was knowledgeable and made a stressful situation for me go by very smoothly.

So thrilled with the outcome of my elbow surgery!
I was diagnosed with tennis elbow and had surgery in June 2020. Dr. Zaino was extremely courteous and gave me all the time I needed to thoroughly explan what the surgery entailed. I had the surgery during COVID and everyone on his team was so cautious and patient. THERE WERE NO WORRIES AT ALL!. I was able to move my elbow pretty good after only one week and now its been about two months and I am back to normal. I am soooo happy I chose to have my surgery done by Dr. Zaino. He's an amazing surgeon!

Positive experience during a very stressful time
Dr. Zaino provided excellent care to my daughter both during her surgery and the 3 months of followup care. She is completely healed and pain free just in time to go off to college. Thank you Dr. Zaino!!

Everything went as planned and the outcome was great.
I had the option of a cast or surgery. Dr. Zaino explained my options well. Cast would not have completely fixed my break so I opted for surgery. Best decision I could have made. Surgery and recovery went great.

Excellent professional expertise with a great bedside manner
I’ve been to Dr Zaino for two situations: a broken wrist and a piece of glass embedded in the tip of my right index finger. My field of work requires me to use the computer daily. My day-to-day tasks were frequently reminded that the glass was there. The embedded glass was deep and an ultrasound was required. After being offered my options whether to remove the glass or not, I decided it would be the right decision to have it removed. Even though there was no guarantee the glass could be located during surgery. Dr Zaino was thorough with his ability to resolve this issue. The glass was located and removed. I can’t say enough good things about him, his staff and the surgical center. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Zaino was very thorough while explaining everything that occurred when I came in with a dislocated thumb. He was very clear while explaining the risks/benefits of the surgery that I needed, and was very accommodating when I did not want to have to go in to a hospital for it. After surgery, Dr. Zaino's instructions were very clear, and I had multiple follow-up appointments with him. Overall, my experience with Dr. Zaino was excellent!

Dr Zaino was caring, honest and patient. Never felt rushed at anytime. .
My daughter suffered a wrist fracture from a snowboarding incident which was surgically repaired by Dr Zaino. He was professional, courteous and patient.
The day of the surgery really blew our minds. Not only was the staff at Sparta Surgical Center great, but the time Dr Zaino took with us before and after the procedure was just phenomenal! We didn’t feel as if my daughter was just the next patient of the day. Knowing she had hardware in her wrist made us uneasy and worried about recovery. Needless to say, surgery and recovery went extremely well. It’s been 5mths post sx and she’s been back to normal activities for some time now without any issues.
Thank you Dr Zanio and staff! We trusted you with our daughter and you exceeded our expectations!!
For anyone considering Dr Zanio- you will not be disappointed.

Very professional, capable and efficient provider
My initial and follow up visits with Dr. Zaino were a pleasure! He was very transparent with me about my condition and willingly explained xrays and treatments clearly. He took time to answer any questions I had and made me feel completely at ease under his care. I would definitely recommend seeing Dr. Zaino to friends and family.

Dr. Zaino did a great job fixing my son’s broken hand.
Dr. Zaino was called into the Morristown emergency room on a Saturday night after my son broke his hand. He had an excellent bedside manner. He did a great job of showing us the break and going over his strategy to fix it. The hand healed perfectly and the follow-up visits were enjoyable.

Great Recovery and a Caring Physician
I visited Dr. Zaino after I ruptured a ligament in my thumb following a bad fall. He provided a quick assessment of my injury and gave me choices regarding my treatment plan. Opting for conservative treatment, Dr. Zaino put my hand and thumb in a cast, and I recovered quickly with very little discomfort. I am now almost 100 percent back to living life as normal with full use of my thumb. I would recommend this doctor for his expertise and high level of patient care.

It was an outstanding experience.
Dr. Zaino fit me into his already busy schedule right before New Year's Eve. He gave me confidence that he could operate on my wrist (plate and screws) and that I would recover. He answered all questions every time I saw him. He was honest, professional, an excellent surgeon (hardly a scar), and caring. I would highly recommend him and I am grateful that he was able to help me.

Thorough and understanding
