So patient and clear

I met with Dr. Aviv for the 1st time and it was just as I expected (based on the many positive reviews I'd read of him). He took time to explain my diagnosis and treatment plan. He was very knowledgeable of my issue (I've been suffering from tightness in my throat for months) and offered me comfort in that he immediately knew the cause of it and how to remedy it. My only con is that I have to travel into NYC to see him(I live in NJ)! But the visit was well worth it. Let's just hope the treatment works!

I have a very complex problem and he seems to be the only person on the planet that has an idea of what is going on and how to treat it, My only wish was that I properly treated this 3 years ago.

Dr Aviv helped diagnose a long standing problem that involved a hoarse voice, sore throat, post nasal drip and other issues of the head and neck. A FEESS procedure revealed that all this time I was suffering from voice granulomas, or ulcers, right on my vocal cords. I’m very big on salads with plenty of vinaigrette, as well as berries and citrus fruits. Who knew that would lead to damage to my throat? He prescribed a very simple and doable plan to reverse the damage to my esophageal area, which was to avoid vinegars, citrus, and carbonated drinks, use a steam inhaler for 5 min twice a day for a month or more and to drink smoothie recipes that he provided me with. Dr. Aviv gave me a peace of mind -and real solutions. Thank you so much!
