From the front office to the nursing staff, excellent treatment
The first time I met Dr, Sloan, he made me feel at ease. He explained everything that he was going to do during surgery.. After surgery I can see clearly, haven’t been able to see clear for years. Thank you Dr Carl Sloan.

Outstanding Doctor and wonderful staff
I was highly impressed with the professionalism and courtesy displayed by Dr. Carl Sloan and all members of the Coastal Eye Group staff, both in the Myrtle Beach office and at Georgetown. Everyone is highly trained and motivated to provide patients the best of care. I felt wonderful and well taken care of prior to my surgery, during the surgery, and afterwards during follow up visits. I highly recommend Coastal Eye Group to anyone needing eye care.

So much less stressful than I thought
Dr.Sloan was so helpful during my first visit explaining everything and surgery was so much easier than I thought. His staff was excellent and his calling after surgery to check on me was so appreciated and show s how concerned he is for his patients

Absolutely best care and trust for this doc.
Amazing care and experience. Best decision to have Dr Sloan correct my vision. Thorough, understanding, knowledgeable, and the best I could ask for with something as important as my vision. Staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this doctor and practice to anyone needing eye care specialists.

I was comfortable with the entire process.
Other than waiting to see the doctor on the first visit for eons, I was very pleased with the office and Dr. Sloan. I might mention the condescending tone that some of his staff uses since I am 81. I don’t like to be called ‘“dear” by someone in their 20s.

I find Dr. Sloan very knowledgeable. I experienced a problem following 1st surgery on my right eye, due to a wrinkled retina, Dr. Sloan diagnosed the issue and recommended treatment course. Sight has improved!

Don’t expect doc to sit down & talk sports with you,.. he’s all business & professional. He’s busy but has time for your questions. He checks on his patients himself by phone after out-patient surgery.
