Dr Sloan extremely skilled/professional
I was very nervous, Dr Sloan’s staff continued through my procedures and visits to comfort me. Letting me feel and know that I was surely in good hands. Everything he related to me concerning my condition were accurate and was true from the beginning to the end. My eyes are healing greatly!!No more headaches, seeing floaters and actual being sickly from glaucoma and cataracts! Oh and his surgery Staff is outstanding! Thanks Dr. Sloan. If no one has every said I Appreciate you for saving my eyesight and thanks for keeping up with the latest technology in your specialty well I am saying it! . I say thanks again!

My experience was very positive, highly recommend

My experience with Coastal Eye Group exceeded my expectations
My experience with Coastal Eye Group exceeded my expectations. From the start to the finish all my visits were handled very well. Dr. Carl Sloan is a master of his profession. My only regret is that I did not do this sooner. I will make sure to recommend Dr. Sloan to my many friends.

Awesome!
Dr. Sloan was great! He explained to me what the problem was, my options, and what results I could expect. Both Dr Sloan and his team at the surgical center and the 78th street location took great care of me and delivered excellent results.

Never a moment of concern.
Referred to Dr. Sloan for signs of glaucoma and cataracts. Glaucoma was ruled out. The cataracts were repaired with no pain and little discomfort. Would highly recommend Coastal Eye Group for treatment.

Caring and attentive
Dr Sloan was very thorough with his examination. He explained all the details involved with surgery and answered all my questions. Followup after was great. Again any concerns or questions were answered. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Sloan is a highly skilled physician who provides outstanding care. I am so grateful to have him as my Doctor. He has excellent explains all aspects of care and treatment. We have moved a lot and have had access to excellent care and I would rate him at the top of all Doctors I have had. I am so grateful for his care and that he performed my surgery. The experience at the surgical center and the outcome of my procedure far exceeded my expectations. I have recommended Dr. Sloan to many and will be forever grateful to him for my outcome. I recommend him with the highest level of confidence. He is not only a wonderful Doctor and but also a great human being. An excellent staff and office as well.

The best care possible!
Very wonderful care and service in every way. The surgeries went beautifully and the treatment and procedures were all right on time. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful in every way. I believe Dr. Sloan is the best choice when you need eye surgery.

Quick and easy because of an excellent team.
Dr. Sloan called me the night after my surgery to ask how I was feeling. Gave me his phone number if I run into any problems. Went to many different doctors since moving to South Carolina and by far he and his team were the best.

Exceeded Expectations
Dr Sloan opened his office on Christmas Eve to see me at which time I wasn’t a patient of his to diagnose a detached retina. He immediately contacted a retinal surgeon and within 5 days I was in surgery. I am beyond words to describe his dedication and commitment but I am profoundly thankful to him. It says a lot about this man and doctor. I recovered and am now a regular patient of Dr Sloan.

Very satisfied with surgical experience
Dr. Carl Sloan just completed cataract removal on my first eye; and, so far, I am totally satisfied with the entire surgical experience. From the beginning, I have felt a great deal of confidence in his knowledge of ophthalmology and in his surgical ability to perform the cataract removal and lens implant using the most modern and up-to-date techniques. I especially appreciated Dr. Sloan making the effort to personally contact me to check on my status as an immediate followup on the evening following surgery.
In addition, at least two of the surgical assistants (Erin and Jan) were not only extremely competent but personable as well, which was certainly helpful in easing my apprehension and in making the surgical experience less stressful.

Cataract surgery was done with expertise.
I had both eyes done for cataract removal. I found the staff and the surgical center to be professional and personable. As a retired RN who myself ran a surgical center I was throughly pleased with the skill and care that all staff showed to me and other patients. Job well done!!!

Very good experience with Dr. Carl Sloan
I have been going to this provider/office for 2+ yrs. My experience has been very good. Dr. And staff/surgical center in Georgetiwn are knowledgeable, courteous, friendly , make you feel comfortable, skilled and trust my provider 100%. They go the extra mile when needed and answer all questions. They follow up immediately when a message is left. They are all an asset to their profession.

Dr. Sloan is so caring.
He takes the time to call you the same evening after your surgery. That's highly unusual for a Dr. to do this!
