5 Star Rating Can’t Imagine Myself Going To Anyone Else
Went to Dr Carl Sloan for pressure and double vision in my eyes. He sent me to to Duke to get corrective surgery but told me we would watch the growth of my cataracts I didn’t know I had. A year later I have had both cataract out, eye pain is gone and my vision is so bright and clear. Dr Carl Sloan is so kind young, handsome and an expect in his field. I recommend him to everyone I know based on my and my husbands experiences with him.

Since my first visit with Dr. Sloan, he has done a great job with getting the pressure down behind my eyes. My only complaint is how long it takes to see him. Today was almost 2 hours in the waiting room.

It’s nice to be cared for by someone, though very busy, has a sunny disposition, takes time with exams and time to answer questions. He sets the example with his staff for they follow suit.

Absolutely Amazing!! I am so grateful.
I had lost almost all my sight in my rt ete due to a huge cataract, Dr Carl Sloan performed my cataract surgery yesterday & today I am 2020 in my rt eye. What a world of difference. The Bay Microsurgery Unit in Georgetown is in a fabulously restored historical bldg & the staff & nurses there are the best of the best. You don’t have to travel to a big city eye institute, Dr Carl Sloan is right here in Myrtle Beach!

Went in feeling like stranger but left with new family!
I went in with depression because i felt like my vision was a sign of getting older. Let me say Dr. Sloan and his staff made that depression run away.......got me feeling like Stella getting her groove back...... Thank you thank you thank you. The best eye group to visit for 2021.

I had two eye surgeries and dr Sloan was fantastic
I’ve been seeing Dr. Sloan for several years. I had glaucoma and cataract surgery and the doctor and staff are always very thorough and easy to reach when I have questions or problems. Dr Sloan always takes time to answer questions and listen to concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Carl Sloan.

My experience couldn't have been better!
First eye was 3 weeks ago. Everything is so bright and clear. My second eye was yesterday. I have no pain or discomfort. Everything so so bright.. Still a little blurry but it took about 3 days for my first eye to clear up. I highly recommend Dr Sloan!

Excellent care by Dr. Sloan and prof. Staff!
From the moment I arrived at Coastal Eye Group’s surgical facility in Georgetown, I was met by welcoming, efficient staff. All personnel explained the process and what to expect. The nurses were amazing, as they explained each step of the procedure along the way and what was to happen. I am a nurse myself and have high expectations of other health care professionals. They went beyond!! I appreciated it greatly, as I was nervous about the cataract removal. In my world, operating on one’s eye takes precision and skill.Dr. Sloan is an awesome experienced ophthalmologist and I trust him totally with my eye care. He and his staff are an excellent team of professionals. I am to have the other eye done next week, and my apprehension is greatly reduced. Thank you!!
