My surgery was quick, easy & very successful
The procedure was explained to me concisely & my surgery was over quickly after the assistants prepped me. I had no down time from normal activities & was glad that I could have my 2nd eye done within a week because there was such a huge difference in my vision. Thank you!

Successful and smooth sailing with cataract surgery
I really appreciate Dr Carl Sloan and his very competent staff. I had a very successful cataract surgery and all went very smoothly. I chose him because so many people had positive reviews about him, but was very impressed with his many credentials as well. He definitely met all of my expectations and I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone considering a cataract surgery In the Myrtle Beach Georgetown area.

Dr Sloan and his staff were great.The staff was attentive and very courteous from check in to check out.All questions were answered clearly with detailed descriptions.Dr Sloan even took the time to call me the night of my surgery to ask me how I was doing, that has not happened since I got my tonsils out 60 years ago.The call was much appreciated. Good experience

Game changer, sight improved 100%
The cataract surgery was as advertised, no side effects and has improved my sight to where I haven’t needed my readers to use my iPhone, Laptop or expiration dates on store items. The staff in Georgetown were friendly and supportive.

The total experience was incredible!
I was having difficulty with my vision . I thought it would be a simple matter of prescription change. That was hardly the case ! I was diagnosed with cataracts and glaucoma!
I was a bit taken back to say the least.
Following thorough exams it was determined that I would need surgery!
The surgery was painless as was the recovery.
My sight is perfect.
I am eternally grateful to Dr. Sloan !!

I went to Dr. Sloan with limited eyesight and after two weeks under his professional care, I can see clearly again. in.
When I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes by my primary care physician, I thought I better have my eyes thoroughly checked by an ophthalmologist because my eyesight had decreased greatly over the past 8 months. When I called Coastal Eye Group and explained my situation, Dr. Sloan, took me in quickly since I had recently been diagnosed with diabetes, and my eyesight had decreased quickly.
My vision was checked the most thoroughly it had ever been. Thankfully, Dr. Sloan discovered I had cataracts in both eyes but no damage from diabetes.
After 2 eye surgeries, performed by Dr. Sloan, my eyesight is remarkable even without glasses. I am thoroughly pleased.
