Dr Cohen is exceptional.
Dr Cohen spent a lot of time explaining my upcoming Mohs surgery and showed me pictures so i knew what to expect. He was very thorough and encouraging throughout the entire surgery. He did an excellent job and my scar is barely noticeable. Dr Cohen is exceptional.

MOHS
Dr Cohen performed my MOHS procedure on a squamous cell area on the side of my nose. He did a very nice job and im very happy with the outcome. What im most grateful for is his instruction that I need to be more proactive than just my yearly checks and using sunblock. He recommended the PDT treatment on my face yearly and to treat my chest also. Id never been told that before by any dermatologist and so now they have become my yearly procedures. Im very grateful to him for this.

Great so far...will review again when all finished with surgeries and follow-up
I searched online and talked to others for experienced MOHS doctors, and Dr Cohen seemed highly recommended both online and from others with whom I spoke. For this reason, I selected him to first do MOHS on a squamous cell carcinoma on my face, diagnosed by a different doctor. He was patient, detail orientated, understood my concerns and showed a book of photos and the process. I had a skin graft for that and the healing has gone well so far. More...

My wife and I have had outstanding care by Drs Cohen and Contreras and associates. The quality of care and their responsiveness have been exceptional. We have been happy and satisfied patients for at least 10 years.

A+ practice - one that I would recommend to anyone without hesitation
From top to bottom Dr. Cohen has developed an A+ practice. Dr. Ho took care of my 1st operation and he and his assistant Mona Rae went above and beyond to not only make me feel comfortable but also informed about what was taking place and what to expect in the future. When I went to Dr. Cohen for my second operation he and Christina met me with the same high standards. I felt as though I was in the company of friends I had know for a long time. Their, "bedside manor" was excellent and there were no questions or concerns that went unanswered. I looked into a number of different practices before choosing About Skin and I would recommend this practice to anyone who is in need of their expertise.

Dr. Cohen did my first surgery after 3 doctors misdiagnosed my lip issue. After a spending 2 years trying to get a diagnosis I really felt confident in his treatment plan.

Excellent physician with outstanding patient skills
Nothing but good ... while it's never good to need a physician, it's important to have a good one when you need help with a medical situation. Not only does Doctor Cohen and his team provide excellent care, but they do it in a warm, personable and friendly manner.

After three different Mohs surgeries on my face, i can testify to Dr Cohen's outstanding talents!
I was terrified when I went in for my first Mohs surgery with Dr Cohen, because was afraid I would have a terrible scar on my fact. By the time we had clean edges, there was a hole the size of a nickel on my forehead. When Dr Cohen sewed me back together, my eyebrow was raised far above my eye, and I thought I would never look normal again. But things turned out better then I ever imagined. Dr Cohen used super-fine thread which made it so there was barely a line to see, and my eyebrow line relaxed back down after about six months. Now you cannot even tell it was done. Dr Cohen pays great attention to the smallest detail so that he leaves the least amount of evidence that you had surgery. Since that first surgery, I have had two more Mohs surgeries performed by Dr Cohen, and there is no trace of those on my face either
Dr Cohen is very kind and gracious, and it brings me great comfort to know that he will always do his very best to leave no trace of my facial surgery.
Although it has been a few years since my last Mohs surgery, Dr Cohen is my favorite doctor because of his exceptional talent and gentle bedside manner.
I am so glad that I found Dr Cohen!!

Dr. Cohen
Dr. Cohen has done amagaing job on my husband head you wouldn't know he had 3 cancer removed. He does it right the first time. Dr. Cohen is one of the most consumtious person over his work. He does it right the first time. Not a lot of returns. His nurses are wonderful they know there job well but are very considerate on how they treat you.

Wonderful experience!
My husband had an extensive mohs procedure on the tip of his nose. Dr. Cohen and his staff were not only extremely knowledgeable and professional but were attentive to my husbands concerns as well. They went above and beyond our expectations in the time they took with both of us. And...they remembered us when we came in for follow-up visits!

Dr Cohen is very personable and did a wonderful job on two Moh's procedures I had done on my face.
As I stated above, my experiences with the doctor were extremely positive from the initial diagnosis through the actual surgery and follow up. He appeared genuinely concerned, empathetic, and committed to doing the best job possible to avoid horrible scarring from the procedures.

I have had Dr. Cohen for 4 of my 5 MOHS skin cancer procedures. Dr. Contreras performed another procedure on my shoulder. In all cases I have been very pleased with the results from both Dr. Cohen and Dr. Conteras.
The doctors and staff have been very professional in the treatment during my procedures.

Dr. Cohen has saved me from three melanomas!
Dr. Cohen has found and successfully removed three melanomas and with careful observations every four months, I am now melanoma free. I credit him with saving my life.
