Very happy with the work!
I'm a musician and had a hard time making it through a one hour gig before my surgery. At three months out I was able to play for a six hour gig with no issues. I feel great! Dr. Smith is always friendly and takes the time to listen and discuss options and concerns. His office staff was great working with me to help get my insurance to approve the surgery as well.

Totally pleased with my care from this staff and doctor.
First, from my first appointment with Dr. Smith he listened to my concerns. He gathered information from my previous records, current x-rays and listening to my past/present experiences. I was so pleased that he never pushed for surgery as that was my last choice yet never stated it. After there was no other option he suggested that it was time for surgery. He spoke to my daughters before the surgery in length and made them feel at ease about his expertise. The surgery went well and each follow up visit with Dr. Smith was as comfortable as my first. I thank Dr. Smith for giving me back the overall physical ability to do everything I used to do before. He and his staff have been so kind, professional and have made themselves available for any questions/concerns I had. Finally, I must add that I missed my recent appointment due to my own fault and both the staff and Dr. Smith adjusted their schedule to see me (who does that now days)! Rebecca T. Orozco

Invasive surgery does heal back pain.
Dr. Dean Smith is a surgeon with a kind and listening heart. He not only heals the back with surgery, he understands the pain his patients have with back pain. He knows what he is doing and explains what will happen before, and after surgery. The healing is faster due to the robotic surgery. I am so happy the surgery has eased the back pain. I got my confidence back
The problem with my back was terrible and honestly effected me in such a negative way. Before the incident happened i was more out going and confident. But when it happened, i became introverted and always in my room. This surgery changed me back to who i was, and even better

Absolutely life-changing!
This surgery changed my life! I was having daily severe neck pain and headaches and couldn't even function. Immediately upon waking up from surgery, the pain was gone. I have degenerative bone problems and this was actually my second surgery with Dr. Smith. He is amazing! He took the time to hear me out and make me feel comfortable. His surgical techniques are of the latest technology and are most advanced which makes me feel confident for the future of my spine health. Best decision I ever made!!!! Dr. Smith rocks!!!!

I am extremely satisfied with Dr, Dean's wonderful work and his great staff.
The surgery performed by Dr. Dean has been very successful. He was always very open and informative which I appreciated. I have been able to reduce my pain medication significantly compared to every day dosages. I have regained my energy and strength. I am very thankful for him and his staff. They always worked with me and went out of their way to assist me with paperwork and time availability. I highly recommend Dr. Dean.

I have started to live again.
I highly recommend Dr. Smith. Straight forward of his action plan for me. What to expect, what the action plan is for my recovery, What he sees in the future for my recovery. It just took me to be motivated to move. That is the key he said so may times, Move, don't stay idle after surgery, Yes, there is pain after surgery but moving, walking is the key to a faster recovery. I had tears everyday to the point of not walking and staying in bed, Now I have tears of JOY from the doctor who gave me life to start living again.
