a terrible accident with a happy ending
from the get go Dr. Guttman was very positive about the outcome of my injury, I on the other hand had a hard time seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. His expertise and positive energy encouraged me to keep the faith and here I am four months later feeling almost 100 percent better! Thank you Dr. Guttman!

Since the first day I went to Dr. Guttmann a long rime ago I have never been to a very busy place and he never made you feel hurried or like your problem wasn't important. this has been a great experience.

I've got my shoulder back!
Having a surgeon not recommend surgery, but instead tailor my treatment to my preferences (including a stem cell injection) was an exceptional experience. Six months ago I couldn't lift my hand past my hip and today I am pain free, have my range of motion back, and am beginning to perform strength movements I feared would be lost to me. I highly recommend Dr. Guttmann!

I feel that Dr. Guttmann is one of the VERY BEST. He is welling to go outside the box and not just stay in the safe zone. I could not have gotten a better provider at home [Atlanta or Houston}. Thanks to him I have the use of my arm again.

Wonderful from start to finish
Was seen for a shoulder injury from mountain biking. Dr. Guttman quickly identified the issue and explained my options clearly for me including all risks. I opted for the surgical repair. Dr. Guttman made sure i understood everything involved and did a great job on my shoulder repair. Follow up appointments were thorough and helped me to feel confident that I made the right choice with having DR. Guttman perform the repair. I have no complaints!

the pre-op visit was great in that all options were discussed. after the decision of surgery was decided, everything went like clockwork through the office. post-op visits were thorough making sure my shoulder was healing properly.

My shoulder is restored
Dr. Guttman provided options beyond surgery for my infraspinatus tear. Physical therapy and a stem cell injection have taken me from severe pain, sleepless nights, and no range of motion to having 90% range of motion and absolutely no pain. Now I can now start restoring my strength again. His goals are aligned with mine in making sure I can maintain a level of structural health, even with the tear.

Its been overall a GREAT experience, under the circumstances.
They took care of me, I was a little confused as to what was happening with the surgery, so ask questions, the only dumb one is the one that isn't asked... Shoulder and bicep so much better!!
