Dr Shepard was outstanding
My only issue is, why didn’t someone tell me that I didn’t need to waste my time and his. This based on his statement that it doesn’t need to be done within a ten year span. This should have been caught prior to me visit

Very pleasant, professional, and caring experience.
Dr. Shephard took the time to listen to my issues and gave me understandable directives. We agreed on a future Digestive System care plan. Dr. Straker (retired) was my previous care provider, and Dr. Shepard put me at ease with issues related to working with a new physician.

He is a caring and knowledgeable in his field.
My family and I have been seeing Dr Shepard for many years for routine colonoscopy and other matters. We are very pleased with his medical care. Excellent human being and excellent doctor.

I really like Dr. Shepard.
Dr. Shephard is very smart, and he really tries to explain my medical situation in terms I can understand. That's not easy, given the gap between his knowledge and mine, since no doctor can spend all day with one patient. I appreciate his calm, gentle demeanor, and I know I am in good hands with him and his team.
One negative comment about the practice in the upper office: more vigilance could be paid to proper mask-wearing by staff, even those handling phone calls. Lower office seems much more careful about this.

Was very happy the doctor listens to my concerns
He listen to my concerns and ordered some test to be done. I really appreciate this. We go to the doctors to get healed and when you walk out not knowing what just happen from your visit , well that’s very discouraging. I walked out feeling positive and understood my type of care and what was going to happen.

Excellent Bedside Manner, confident and humble.
The entire practice including the surgery center is loaded with caring professionals, who take their job seriously while showing kindness at every step. When approaching these procedures, most patients, myself included (even after two previously over the years) are naturally uncomfortable, however from the first interaction with staff, through the staging, during and after the procedure and recovery, I was made to feel very extremely comfortable, especially with the warmed blankets!

The best Gasto office around
Dr. Shephard is the best. I have gone to him for many years and hopefully never have to go anywhere else. He and his staff are very caring and compassionate. I would highly recommend him. I have never have a problem with anything in this office. Only the best work here!

Dr. Shepherd has a good bedside manner and comes across very professional and relates well on a personal basis
