Got rid of my Heel Pain
Painful mornings when I would step off of bed with plantar fasciitis. The heel pain was so unbearable in the morning but as the day went on it would disappear so I put off seeing a doctor. It got worse in time so I searched online for a podiatrist in NYC. The choice was clear. I came to Gotham Footcare. I am very glad I did. They took such great care of me and I enjoyed coming here.

Gone
If you have a plantar wart this is the place to go. I had a big one on the bottom of my foot. I was limping because it was painful every time I would step on it. Dr. Cunha took good care of me.

Fungal Nails
I have been embarrased to show my fungal nails for years. Sandal season was never my favorite. I have tried mutiple laser nail removal but it didn't work. I came to Gotham Footcare because my friend received a newsletter with details on ClearaNail. I went to the office to get the procedure done once and I followed up with the instructions at home. It was very effective and I noticed a difference in week 3. My nail is now healthy looking 6 months later. I can't wait to put on my new pair of stuart weitzman sandals to show off my toes.

Tenex Procedure that cured achilles tendonitis
Had a minimally invasive procedure at Gotham Footcare called Tenex to treat Achilles Tendonitis. I highly recommend the procedure and this doctor's office. Had I known sooner I would have done Tenex a long time ago. I have been suffering from Achilles Tendinitis for 3 years now. I was afraid of surgery but this was nothing.

Ingrown toe nail
I went to Gotham Footcare to remove an ingrown toe nail. I initially tried to take care of it myself but the toe nail got infected. I learned my lesson to never do it. Dr. Cunha was gentle and managed to get rid of it. It hasn't come back since.

Sprained Ankle
I sprained my ankle during a trip to NYC. I didn't know where to go. I did a quick Google search and Gotham Footcare stood out of all NYC podiatrist. I am very glad the reviews were spot on with my experience. The doctor was very knowledgeable, staff friendly and the office spectacularly clean and beautiful. I highly recommend Gotham Footcare. No longer suffer of plantar fasciitis
Nearly two months of physical therapy under the care of Dr. Cunha but I am happy to say I no longer have the pain I was experiencing from plantar fasciitis. Dr. Cunha was great , thorough and a very caring provider. I highly recommend him and his team at Gotham Footcare.

A little of a wait but well worth
I made my appointment for 2 and was seen 15 minutes later. At first I was annoyed because I had to be back at work before my lunch hour but as soon as I was sent in I was seen right away. The doctor was thorough and straight to the point. I was very pleased with the communication and the visit overall. The staff was apologetic and very friendly.

Ingrown toe nail visit
I came in for an ingrown toe nail that I feared would be painful to fix. It wasn't at all so bad. I wish I had not lived with the pain so long. The staff and doctor at Gotham Footcare are attentive and caring and I highly recommend them.

Overall great experience
I went to Gotham Footcare for a foot pain I was enduring. I had shooting heal pain in the morning which I came to find out from Dr. Cunha was plantar fasciitis. He did a quick procedure called Tenex that relieved right away. Very personable and knowledgeable doctor.

Two bunions
I had both of my bunions done with Dr. Cunha. Both came out beautiful and pain free. I was going to make the mistake of having the procedure done minimally invasive which would require to have it done again a few years later. Apparently I learned that the minimally invasive bunion surgery is not permanent correction. It is not correcting the root of the problem but rather just a quick fix.

Orthotics

Bunion surgery
My bunion surgery was a success at Gotham Footcare. I found the practice through google and was a little skeptical at first since I had no references. However, from the very first visit to the very last of my bunion surgery, everything was pleasant. I highly recommend this practice if you need bunion surgery.

Fungal nail treatment
I had fungal nails for a few years now. I can contribute to the lack of shoes by the pool side. I tried laser fungal treatment and thought I was getting a Groupon deal but that resulted in a waste of money. I found Gotham Footcare online. They offered something fresh and new for fungal nails. It only took one visit and then I saw the results in weeks 4. My nails are normal and healthy looking. Thank you Gotham Footcare for offering new advancements in foot care.

What a gem
I came today to Gotham Footcare to resolve an achy pain in my heel. What an experience. I ran into my favorite celebrity there. The office is gorgeous with very warm staff. Dr. Cunha was so personable and just overall awesome. This place is such a gem. I am looking forward to coming and being treated here. Who says this about their doctor's office!

Achilles Tendonitis patient
I came to see Dr. Cunha for a an achilles tendonitis condition. Dr. Cunha laid out a plan that catered to my lifestyle and timeline of when I had to be better. It was aggressive but he had me feeling great within 3 weeks time. That has never happened before in the years I visited other doctors offices. I am lucky to have found him and will continue to see him for all my foot issues.

My bunions are gone and my feet look beautiful
I was introduced to Dr. Cunha by a family friend who has been going to him for years. He has a very welcoming office and courteous staff. Before the pandemic he did my left bunion which looked amazing and healed quickly. Since I was working from home these past months I decided to take care of my right bunion. It was a golden time to take care of me without needing to take off time from work and recover at home. Dr. Cunha is a perfectionist. He operates out of his own facility so the procedure is never rushed. He made sure I had a total correction and the seam was done with a plastic surgeon technique. By feet look so beautiful! I thank Dr. Cunha and his team for such a wonderful experience.

Clear explanation and my problem solved
Dr. Cunha's approach is very refreshing. He is very knowledgeable and lays out all your treatment options which is quite a few since they carry all the advance equipment you can dream of. He speaks about each and every one letting you feel free to choose the most conservative or aggressive procedure. This is very refreshing to me because I went to 3 other doctors that pushed their surgeries on me. I am happy to know Dr. Cunha is not about making profit but rather making me better.

Business trip to NYC
I am from Miami and had to come to NYC for a business trip. Long story short I stubbed my toe that I could barely walk. Dr. Cunha had a vacant slot in his midtown office and was able to see me right away. While I was there we spoke about another issue I was having that I put off for a while. It turns out while he did a minor surgery he pulled out a malignant mass. He probably saved my life and I didn't eve know it. I am very thankful to this human being that goes above and beyond what most people expect of him. I am truly greatfull. Now the only thing left is to convince him to open shop in Miami.

Wart zapped within 2 visits
Gotham Footcare is at the top of my charts for doctors office experience. From the decor, staff and really good doctors such as Dr. Cunha I was able to get amazing results on my bunion removal and now my wart. I have had 3 warts on my left big toe that were stubborn and ugly. It has always been my flaw. Dr. Cunha took care of them when no one was able to. Thanks to the Gotham team for taking good care of me.

Dr. Cunha changed my life
I used to suffer from chronic plantar fascia pain for more than 6 months. Basic tasks like going to the groceries and carrying bags home became troublesome. I tried conservative measures and they failed. I gave up on my regular doctor when I came for a consult with Dr. Cunha at Gotham Footcare. Dr. Cunha introduced me to the Tenex procedure for plantar fasciitis. It was immediately successful. I am very happy with the results and improvement in my life.

Gotham Footcare has shown me time and time again that they are experts in their field. My daughter, a Broadway ballet dancer has gone to countless doctors ranging from orthopeadics to podiatrists to resolve her foot pain that came with years of dancing. No other doctors were able to diagnose her correctly and treat her to the point of recover like Dr. Cunha. We are very grateful and trust him completely.
