Most beautiful office in NYC
As an interior designer I have never been impressed with any doctor's office in the city, however this office blew me away. Gotham Footcare on 5th Avenue is gorgeous. I was extremely comfortable and enjoyed every visit. Dr. Cunha is warm and approachable. The staff is very bubbly. I had a painful bunion Dr. Cunha corrected. He has a great bunion surgery technique that made me immediately comfortable. i trust this practice completely.

Diagnosis was spot on
After visiting 2 doctors in England and 3 doctors in NYC, I finally came across Dr. Cunha that diagnosed my terrible foot pain. I am 69 years old and have been living with a unexplainable foot pain. At first I was skeptical to go to a younger doctor but after hearing his name more than twice I gave it a shot. He was very determined to help and now 8 months later I am walking pain free. It feels like a miracle even though its not. He is clearly a talented young doctor.

Really Great Doctor
I feel really fortunate to have found Dr. Cunha on google for treating Morton's Neuroma. I was in so much foot pain. He was able to treat my Morton's Neuroma by fitting me in within a week's period. The treatment has changed my life completely. Thank you Gotham Footcare especially Dr. Cunha. I highly recommend him.

Exceptional doctor with great people skills
At first I was skeptical for seeing Doctor Cunha for my problem with Achilles Tendonitis. He has so many more reviews than all other podiatrists and isn't as old as the rest but from the moment I stepped in his office to the point I left I understood completely. He runs a nice office, warm staff and his medical and people skills are on point. I still have a few more visits on my treatment plan but I don't mind. I already see my recovery and the visits are pleasant.

Diagnosis was spot on and treatment was perfect
I came in for what I found out to be was plantar fasciitis. I was in terrible pain for 2 months and thought it was time to do something about it. The plan was easy to follow and I saw improvements right after 3 days. I am very happy Gotham Footcare was recommended to me by my boss.

Bunion success
I came to Gotham Footcare for a bunion removal. He is an advocate of doing the bunion the gold standard way to provide optimal and permanent correction with a small side incision that is not visible. I almost got suckered into doing a minimally invasive bunion surgery but then heard a lot of complaints from a couple of my friends that mentioned the bunion returned 3 years later. Dr. Cunha explained how that was possible so I am so glad I didn't risk doing it the minimally invasive way. I am very happy with my results. Dr. Cunha was very professional and eased my way through the whole bunion process.

Long term patient
As a patient that has been to Gotham Footcare for over 4 years I can atest that this practice cares a lot about their patients and less about their pocket books. I am treated like family here. I have very complicated feet and have seeked professional help all my life. Gotham Footcare is the only practice I have been loyal too because the visits are pleasant and they reduce my foot pain significantly.

Everything went well
My experience with Gotham Footcare went very well all 6 visits with the exception of waiting once for over 10 minutes to see the doctor. Otherwise the office is beautifully and well kept. Doctors and staff are competent and friendly. Enjoyed my experience.

Clear explanation and right diagnosis
Dr. Cunha is my podiatrist. He is very easy to talk to and quickly diagnosed and understood what needed to be done to put me on the path to recovery. I do not suffer from heel pain any longer.

Happy Patient

Gotham Footcare is the best podiatry office in the city
If I can give a practice 10 stars this would be it. Came to Gotham Footcare for a painful bunion removal. There was no other remedy other than surgery and I was prepared for that. Within 2 weeks I had my bunion surgery and now 2 months later I am golden and loving life. I can wear shoes now that I only dreamed about. I can dance all night when I used to sit out. Going to Gotham Footcare for my bunion removal was life changing.

Best foot doctor in NYC hands down!
Came in to see Dr. Cunha at his beautiful office Gotham Footcare in the midtown location. I was greeted by really nice staff that took me in right away. I saw Dr. Cunha 5 minutes later and he diagnosed me and put me on a plan to recovery from plantar fasciitis. It has been 3 weeks and I notice the results. I truly enjoy coming in for my visits.

Foot Pain is gone!
After several months of excruciating foot pain I can happily say I am no longer suffering. I am an avid sprint runner. After years of national training I developed plantar fasciitis. I was devastated that this would stop me from accomplishing my goals. Every morning I would step out of bed with tremendous heel pain. I learned about Gotham Footcare through a Google search. Dr. Cunha showed up many times in credible sources and so I decided to pay him a visit. I am so glad I did. He put me on a conservative plan and then a more rigorous one to get rid of the plantar fasciitis. It was pleasant and effective. I appreciate the team and the care from Gotham Footcare.

Top Notch Doc!
Dr. Cunha is a very warm, and personable doctor. He is very easy to talk to and doesn't rush you. He understood my symptoms and diagnosed me correctly. I had an annoying pain between my toes that two doctors misdiagnosed. Within a few minutes he told me I had a Morton's Neuroma by squeezing my toes together. The x-ray confirmed what he said. I had the cryo-surgery procedure done. It was easy. I am pain-free just like that. Cryo-surgery is minimally invasive and has no downtime. I am so glad I opted to have my procedure with Dr. Cunha.

Best doctor in NYC
I wish I could give him 10 stars because Dr. Cunha deserves it after working on my feet. I had the ugliest feet ever! Dr. Cunha did 6 hammertoes and 2 bunions. He took care of my feet for 6 months and I wish it was summer time again so I could show them off. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Overall satisfying
I had a foot pain before I came to Gotham Footcare. Dr. Cunha diagnosed me with Plantar Fasciitis. He put me on a personalized plan that lasted 5 weeks. The pain is gone now. I couldn't believe I endured that morning pain for almost a year. I wish I went to him earlier. He improved my quality of life exponentially.

Fungal nail is gone!
Last year I spent countless hundreds on laser nail fungus removal. It did not work and I found myself researching a new procedure called ClearANail based out of England. I came to learn that Dr. Cunha at Gotham Footcare had this procedure. The ClearANail procedure was quick and painless. The cost was $800 for my big toe. Despite being costly it was worth it becasue in one shot and 4 months later my nail looks great. I highley recommend this procedure.

Best experience at a doctor's office
Dr. Miguel Cunha really cares about the true well being of his patients. He took his time diagnosing and asking all the questions. I was treated for a bad case of plantar fasciitis. He has several minimally invasive procedures to choose from. He is very personable and genuine. It was really easy connecting with him.

Great foot doctor in NYC!
Had a wonderful outcome with Dr. Cunha. I am 60 years old and felt I was too old to have a bunion surgery. Dr. Cunha gave me wonderful conservative ways to minimize my bunion pain but I was tired of basing my daily decisions on whether I was going to be able to bear the pain or not. I decided to move forward with Dr. Cunha because he showed me through x-rays that the popular minimally invasive bunion procedure so well followed by most podiatrists was not going to correct my bunion but rather just mask the symptoms for a few years. His bunion correction follows the gold standard by correcting the root of the problem, making it a permanent correction. He also places the small incision on the side of the foot so it is not visible. I am very happy with the results and the overall outcome. He is a very trust worthy fellow. I appreciate his service. Dr Miguel Cuna is the best doctor I have ever seen

Awesome
My experience with gotham footcare is top notch from the moment you arrive the front desk girls are attentive and helpful in any way they can. Doctor Cunha is very helpful and very patient in helping me understand my diagnosis and options as to recovery and feeling relief, passion therapies are amazing and I do feel much more better since arriving.

Excellent treatment of plantar fascitis
Experienced pain in foot after long runs (jogging). Suspected plantar fascitis, which was confirmed by Dr Cunha. The PT sessions seem to work and the overall pain is becoming more manageable (can run again). Hopeful it will go away with PT sessions. Would recommend Gotham Footcare to anyone experiencing plantar fascitis. The staff is very friendly and professional.
