Tenex procedure for Achilles Tendonitis saved me
I had terrible pain from my Achilles Tendonitis. Simple tasks were becoming difficult. I spoke to Dr. Cunha at Gotham Footcare over a telemedecine during COVID. We went through some at home exercises, prescription and shoes recommendations to get me through the next couple of weeks. But once the office opened I opted for the Tenex minimally invasive procedures that did wonders. I am pain free now. It was a quick and painless recovery. I am so grateful I followed Dr. Cunha's recommendation.

Attention to detail
Gotham Footcare pays attention to all the details. From the moment you walk in to checking out, the staff is friendly, courteous, the doctors knowleagable and caring and the place is next level. I have been to the downtown and midtown office and the decor is tres chic. I will be coming back again!

Great experience at Gotham Footcare
I am a road runner member here in NYC and participated in many marathons along the last several years, however in the last year I began to feel pain along my heel as I get out f bed in the morning. Through researched I learned what I was experiencing was plantar fasciitis. Gotham Footcare was among the few practices that opened a little earlier during the pandemic and I was very glad. As a health care worker in the front lines we felt defeated in more ways then one. Dr,. Cunha resolved my pain that allowed me to go to work. I appreciate their caring and hard working nature.

Shockwave therapy alleviated my plantar fasciitis
GothamFootcare was able to improve my lifestyle. I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis during the whole pandemic. Simply walking to the grocery store and back was painful. Dr. Cunha introduced me to shockwave therapy. Within a couple of sessions I had immediate relief. I highly recommend Dr. Cunha for his knowledge and his straight up approach. It also helps that he has a beautiful office and personable staff.

Best wart removal treatment in NYC
I have had stubborn warts on my feet for several years. It could be contributed to walking barefoot in the gym showers. My family may have contracted them from me since I have learned that they are contagious. I found Gotham Footcare through a google search and found them to be most advanced with their technology, procedures and methods. I am very glad I did. Since then my wife, kids and myself have been treating the warts. Withing 2 treatments I see a vast difference. I may have to come back once more but my kids and wife are wart free!. The procedure was painless and quick. No cutting or burning involved. I highly recommend this practice.

Tenex procedure for achilles tendonitis
As a sufferer of achilles tendonitis from avid running I have been seeking remedy for a couple of years. I am glad I found a few reviews similar to my explaining the Tenex procedure as a successful minimally invasive surgery to rid of achilles tendonitis. Although the reviews were for plantar fasciitis and tendonitis I found the same resulted for achilles tendonitis. It was effortless, painless and fast recovery. I am back running again and thank Dr. Miguel Cunha from Gotham Footcare for his recommendation and successful execution of getting rid of my long overdue pain of achilles tendonitis.

Rewarding experience
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Gotham Footcare. The office and staff is lovely. I really enjoy their vibe and caring nature for the patients. I felt well taken care of and my plantar fasciitis resolved quickly with the Tenex procedure.

Stubborn wart treatment
I have had a stubborn wart for 5 years now. Its on mt left foot and I step on it while I walk which causes pain at times. I have had it frozen, cut and applied acid but nothing worked. I noticed Gotham Footcare though an Instagram post about Swift microwave wart treatment. I am so glad I tried it because it worked. I finally found something that worked. I couldn't be happier.

Smart Doc
I came to Dr. Cunha for a painful Morton's Neuroma. After seeing several doctors and no remedy, my friend mentioned I should go see Dr. Cunha. He knew immediately what should be done. # weeks later I am walking pain free. I wish I knew about him sooner.

Wonderful doctor
I had the best experience with Dr. Cunha. I had a severe case of plantar fasciitis that I developed during this time working from home. It was only my first appointment but Dr. Cunha was reassuring I'll be in good shape in the next couple of weeks. I look forward to my next visits.

Glad they are open
During this pandemic it was hard to find a good podiatry office. I was disappointed that Gotham Footcare was closed. They are now up and running. The service was always good but due to slower times I was able to get more time in the doctor and PT.

3 years great service in a row
I have been seeing Dr.Cunha for 3 straight years. I have also had foot problems ranging from plantar fasciitis, athlete's foot and metatarsalgia. Most recently he took care of a bothersome Morton's Neuroma. His treatment never fails and I enjoy our conversation.

Sprained ankle

Facility was very clean and I felt safe
My experience at Gotham Footcare was very positive. With today's current events it was important to me to continue my care in facility's that practiced cleaning protocols to meet CDC recommendations. Ugly fungal nails are gone
I have tried everything in the market. You name I have done it. From drug store fungal nail lacquer, medication to fungal laser removal and nothing worked until I went to Gotham Footcare. They introduced me to something I had never heard of before. It's a device that make tiny little holes onto your nail bed that allows for medication to penetrate deeper into the nail. Just 2 weeks later I noticed something happening. It was so amazing to see my nails become more clear and clean looking. My nails are beautiful now. I can't wait for the summer to show them off. I no longer have disgusting yellow and brittle toenails thanks to Gotham Footcare.

Diagnosis was correct and I am doing great
I learned of Gotham Footcare through an article I came across on Google about wearing the correct shoes. It was a well rounded article summarizing how to pick your shoes. Surprisingly enough I was doing it all wrong and was suffering from foot pain. I came in to address the foot pain and Dr. Cunha nailed it. I am much better now and follow his advise whole heartedly!

Superb all around
I met Dr. Cunha recently. He is a very nice well rounded person outside of being a great doctor. I am very happy with my treatment at Gotham Footcare. My ingrown toenail and plantar wart was resolved surprisingly quickly.

Spa-like experience
Who ever knew going to a foot doctor for heel pain could feel so luxurious and spa-like? I enjoyed every minute, from the warm greeting, beautiful space, and after the first visit a whirlpool treatment. I am coming back!

The best foot doctors office in New York City
I love Gotham Footcare. The vibe is just right and the care provided is super genuine. I have been coming here for foot pain for two years. As an avid runner I experience foot injuries and general foot pain. However coming here is always a pleasure.

Bunion Surgery Success!
I heard about Gotham Footcare two years ago from a co-worker. She scheduled her appointments around lunch hour and was always happy to go to the doctor's office 2 times a week. I didn't understand the hype until I decided to go see Dr. Cunha to address a bunion that I had on my left foot that was causing me agony. I had a hard time finding shoes that didn't hurt because of the bump on my foot. From the very first visit I fell in love with the office, staff and the vibe of the doctor. I really felt at ease and in good hands. My bunion surgery and recovery was a success. This review was long over due. I recommend Gotham Footcare and especially Dr. Cunha for bunion surgery.

Professionalism at its best
I really like this doctor's office. They are very professional but yet down to earth. I always feel comfortable here. I have been here about 6 times already for Plantar Fasciitis treatment. So far I see 85% improvement in my condition.

Flawless
I came to Gotham Footcare today to be treated for a Morton's Neuroma. I was pleasantly surprised with my visit. It was perfect. I was taken to a room right away where Dr. Cunha showed up 2 minutes later. The staff was very nice and the office was clean and stylish. I felt as if I was a celebrity. Dr. Cunha layed out all my options for treatment and we agreed on one. I haven't completed the treatment yet but feel very confident it will go well.
