Dr. Zalvan is the first doctor I’ve had that suggested a plant based diet would improve my overall health and he was right. All physicians should be required to do the same for their patients!

Dr Zalvan is an excellent ENT surgeon.
Dr Zalvan did surgery on my vocal cord. I think he is an excellent surgeon. He is very thorough and explains exactly what he will do during surgery. He also is excellent in explaining what I need to do for my recovery. I strongly recommend Dr Zalvan.

Upbeat, engaging, invested,
Dr. Craig Zalvan is a fantastic doctor! He has a great disposition. I had a very productive visit. I was worried about why I cough when I drink water. It was extremely helpful to see, on the video, what occurs as I swallow. I know what I need to do; to have a more in-depth swallowing test at Phelps and then follow up with him virtually.

Great Doctor Great Advice
I had know of Dr Zalvan for years being a former Voice Professor at the Mozartina Musical Arts Conservatory in Tarrytown and being a Classically trained singer but this was my first time as a patient. I found the doctor to be caring, and informative pinpointing that my vocal chords looked in good vocal shape without any swelling or nodules as he scoped me, but only weak due to a recent upper respiratory virus that he said only time and vocal therapy and going slow in my practice sessions time alone would heal. Dr. Zalvan gave me a couple types of nasal sprays to use meanwhile and some good vocal advise.

Unparalleled professional, caring, excellent communicator
Dr Zalvan is an excellent physician who listens, shares information and provides exemplary care. At a visit, I told Dr Zalvan that I had been hospitalized for a bout of diverticulitis. He suggested I read a book about the benefits of a plant based diet and then he dealt with my badly clogged ears! This conversation literally and truly changed my life! Returning to the office recently to have me ears and nose examined again, I was thrilled to personally thank Dr Zalvan for suggesting I educate myself about the benefits of healthy eating. Because his approach was collegial, non judgmental and was delivered in a helpful way, I read some books and educated myself related to eating cleaner, unprocessed, plant based food. The result: 66 year old, female, feels healthier, happier and also weighs 20 pounds less! Dr. Zalvan, as a health care partner is second to none! He is A true medical doctor dedicated to the care of the whole patient!
