Intelligent, caring, and willing to teach
Dr Ward has treated my children for almost ten years now and we have benefited greatly from her accuracy and compassion. Additionally, she is willing to teach us about any diagnosis we receive.

Dr. Ward is the best
My children have been patients of Dr. Ward since birth and could not ask for a better pediatrician. She spends a good amount of time with each of her patients. She listens, she asks lots of questions and always makes the children feel comfortable. The very best in the UWS.

Great visit with Dr. Ward
We have been seeing Dr. Ward since my daughter was born and she is by far the most patient and passionate doctors we have encountered in New York. Her willingness to spend time and answer questions is unsurpassed. Her genuine love of children is evident in every interaction. She always explains everything to me and my kids, no matter how big or small.

Incredible and warm

Doctor who listens patiently and takes her time to make diagnosis

Easily the best pediatrician...bar none!
Dr. Ward is a jewel! As a 3 child family we have seen our share of pediatricians and been through the process a few times. We are so lucky to have Dr. Ward as our pediatrician. She is thoughtful, attentive, caring, gentle, amazing bedside manner, informative and teaches us something new to improve the health of our kids and our parenting at every visit! 5 stars isnt enough. I would give 6, if I could!

best pediatrician ever!!!!
Dr. Ward is incredible. She's so generous with her time and leaves us feeling confident in our baby's health. She answers all of our questions and then expounds on them, teaching us valuable skills we need to be successful as parents. We absolutely love Dr. Ward!!

Amazing!
Dr. Ward took the time to examine and explain the need for a procedure our son needed. The procedure was quick and seemed relatively painless. After, Dr Ward took the time to explain care and gave some life changing breastfeeding tips. We would highly recommend this Doctor to friends, family and anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable pediatrician.

We love Dr. Ward
We have been with Dr Ward for 18 years. She genuinely loves kids and pays attention to them as well as to the parents.
She is interested in their physical and emotional well being and has conversations with them about school, their likes and dislikes etc.
We trust her judgement and her recommendations.
We are very fortunate to have a doctor like her taking care of our kids.

Caring doctor, long waits
We like and trust Dr Ward, just wish there was another healthcare provider in her practice so that the wait times weren't so long and availability wasn't so limited. She's a great doctor though, with excellent follow-up and genuine concern for her patients.

Dr Ward is GREAT!
Dr Ward is so patient with my 4 year old and my two year old. My 4 year old looks forward to visiting the doctors office largely in part because of how Dr Ward relates with my 4 year old. Our visit today could not have gone any better in light of the routine shots and blood draws.

Great with kids and parents
My son has been seeing Dr Ward since he was 3 days old (he's 14 yrs old now). She is responsive, available and always answers his questions during visits (he has a lot!). We love her!

Excellent!!

15 Years and Counting
We have been with Dr. Ward since our first son was born in 2005, and through our most recent in 2018. We have been through our fair share of health challenges and Dr. Ward and her team have always been amazing and will continue to be for many years to come. She is honest, sincere, trustworthy and has an amazing bedside manner, is an expert in her field and collaborates with you through the health process and the raising of your children. She cares about your family values and brings years of experience to the table when partnering with your family to deliver the best service and outcomes. If she doesn't know the answer she's not afraid to ask or make the best referral in town. Furthermore, she's great at teaching you about the issues at hand. The kids absolutely love her, and she has made us better and more competent parents. Love her.

Great pediatrician!
I've been coming to Dr. Ward since I was little and she's always been really considerate and attentive. Visits are pretty much painless (especially when it comes to administering shots) and always gives me advice on how to address my health needs outside of the doctor's office, i.e. on diet and nutrition, skincare, etc.

Dr. Ward is Amazing
We've been patients of Dr. Ward for 6.5 years, through the birth of two kids. She is a phenomenal pediatrician and just a wonderful human being. She's given us excellent counsel through breastfeeding issues, countless high fevers, stomach bugs, strange rashes, suggested effective discipline strategies, you name it. She explains complex things very well, and recently gave us critical insight that allowed us to make a decision about surgery after two conflicting opinions from specialists. She always gives us as much time as we need for our questions, and we always leave with answers, a clear path forward and peace of mind. So grateful to have been referred to her by our OBGYN years ago.

Amazing and relieving experience
Our baby is four days old and we're one day out of the hospital. After a rough night and problems with breastfeeding, we came to Dr. Ward because of a tongue tie. She went above and beyond the actual procedure and spent a long time with us showing us techniques and giving us advice. My wife has been having a very hard time and for her this was life changing. Dr. Ward turned the experience of breastfeeding from stressful to hopeful and easier. Her attitude is relaxing and very comforting and we feel very lucky to have had our new son under her care. The BEST pediatrician--and a part of our family for 11 years strong
Dr Ward has been a part of our lives for 11 years, ever since our daughter came home from the NICU. She has always been an advocate and incredible source of comfort and knowledge. At all ages, all times of the day, in every situation. We have the most amazing relationship where she knows my husband and I, knows our kids, and ALWAYS gives us as much time as we need to ask questions and listen to our concerns. She gives fantastic advice that is consistent, clear, and easy to follow. We trust her completely.

Dr. Cathy Ward is great!
My son has been lucky to be healthy these past eight years, so we only see Dr. Ward around once a year for his annual checkup. We actually look forward to it! She is a great listener, shows so much respect for our kid, and offers sound advice. It's abundantly clear that she cares about the well being of children and their safety and self-esteem. She's a great pediatrician!

Great experience, super helpful and empowering
My son had a tongue tie and not only did Dr. Ward immediately squeeze us in her busy schedule, but she also did a fantastic job in not only dealing with the tongue tie but also giving me tricks for better breastfeeding. As the mom of a newborn, breastfeeding is one of the most stressful things and Dr. Ward was a great listener, motivator and teacher. I found her to be knowledgeable and and super empowering. I would highly recommend!!

An amazing caregiver!
We have been with Dr. Ward for 5 years and cannot imagine visiting another pediatrician. She always takes time to listen to our concerns and answers every one of our questions, no matter how silly they might seem in hindsight. Her demeanor is very warm and and loving, while at the same time confident and composed.
If you are in the New York City area and are in search for a doctor for your child, you will feel very well cared for if you choose Dr. Cathy Ward. Our only regret is that she is not a physician for adults as well.
