Dr. Cathy Ward, MD

We have been seeing Dr. Ward since the day my son was born --over 4.5 years ago and we can't rave enough about her. At every doctor appointment, she takes the time to listen to our concerns, asks us probing questions and provides us with her diagnosis which is usually spot on. We recommend Dr. Ward to all our friends and family. Sometimes the office wait can be a little long, but once it is your turn you have her complete undivided attention which is so important for first time parents. Her staff is also wonderful! We have since added our 18 month daughter to Dr. Ward's patient list!

Doctor Ward's patience in answering all our questions is something I really appreciate. She takes the time to explain everything in detail and I trust her completely.

We had our annual checkup today with Dr. Ward. I have 3 boys ages 1 to 9 and they love to go to the doctor. We have been going to her for the last 8 years and even though it's no longer geographically convenient we would not switch because she is like family to us. She took time today to address all of our concerns, makes time to answer questions, and genuinely cares for my kids. We didn't feel rushed whatsoever. And her practical and medical knowledge is unsurpassed.

I have always been comfortable with Dr Ward. I know that she will spend enough time with my sons, really examining their physical needs. She has been very good about the transitions from one age to the next, adjusting to the boys as they grow. She not only watches and takes care of their body, but is always able to answer questions.

i am bringing my bay since she born she is 4 years old now and Doctor Ward is being a magnificent Doctor to us and now we are bringing her sister sometimes i want to clone her to bring her to queens you never are going to find a doctor like her

Dr Ward is great - wait times can take a while though

We went through 3 pediatricians before we were recommended to Dr. Ward. Since we began, we've had nothing but high praise. She is firm but patient, willing to take as long as you need to talk through issues and explain the various stages of your kids' development. Have loved our experienct!

Dr Ward has been my children's paediatrician since birth (she actually had no choice as I was ready to camp outside her practice!) We would never consider going anywhere else. My daughters think she is super cool - primarily due to her bedside manner. She has spoken to them with respect from the moment they could understand her. She is always there for parents even on those days when anxiety takes over rational thought. She makes sure that each step for treatment is understood. She is straight talking - there is no situation where you have to try and decipher what she is telling you. She will always follow up to make sure everything is OK. We love that drugs are not always her first reaction to an illness. It helps that she has a great sense of humour. The fact that she finds foster homes for cats and kittens, combined with being a former Airforce pilot just adds to her "coolness" ratings! We love her. We truly feel that Dr Ward and her staff are a part of our family.

We have been with Dr Ward for almost 2 years now. Dr Ward was great at connecting with us right away and has been wonderful with her time and expertise. She is also great at connecting with the kids. We are always confident in her judgement, referrals and appreciate her taking the time to listen to our concerns. We fully recommend her to other friends and families.

Excellent! Doctor did a thorough follow up exam and clear guidelines as to future care. Dr Ward helped save my 1 month olds's life by recognizing critical need for emergency oxygen and care. Baby went immediately to icu and spent a total of 8 days in hospital on oxygen and feeding tube.

Dr. Ward is patient and professional, she really listens to both the parent and her patient. She always makes time for her patients when not feeling well and getting an appointment on the same day has never been an issue.
