Very pleasant, easy and informative.
Dr. Bassett was a lot of fun to work with as she made this process as easy as possible. We went through all the options before surgery; being the last resort. She’s easy to keep in contact with and explains everything thoroughly. At first I was very skeptical to have the surgery but now I realize how much it was needed. Thanks Dr. Bassett!

Friendly and comforting.
My experience with Dr. Bassett was overall amazing. She is very knowledgeable, kind, friendly and easy to communicate with. She really spends time with her patients and i never felt rushed to ask questions or get out of there. From my very first visit to my last, Dr. Basset and her nurse gave the best care. It was very comforting knowing that my questions were always answered and i was always aware of my limitations and progression. I highly recommend Dr. Bassett!

I always knew what was going on and what was happening next
Dr. Bassett is probably one of the best doctors I have been too. She always throughly explained everything that had to do with my procedure, what was happening next, and everything that had to do with the anatomy. Dr. Bassett answered any question I had and never made it feel like she was just answering to answer but to make sure I understood. Would 10/10 recommend to others.

Dr. Bassett provided the best care that we could have asked for
My daughter had tore her ACL and Dr. Bassett performed an ACL reconstruction and partial menisectomy. She always provided fantastic explanations so we always knew exactly what was going on. Dr. Bassett was always understanding and answered all of our questions. She made a difficult time as easy and painless as it could be.

Dr Bassett was awesome!
Dr Bassett explained everything and was so concerned for my well being . She was reassuring and I was so impressed when she called me the night of my surgery to check in on me to see how I was doing! I had a right medial meniscectomy due to a complex tear which required surgery.

Excellent! She is so compassionate.
In the middle of this coronavirus I tore my meniscus. From the beginning Dr. Bassett and her staff were so welcoming. Dr. Bassett takes her time and explains step by step what the next step will be. I'm now going on 5 weeks after surgery and feeling great. She is so caring and supportive.

I couldn't had find a more professional and reliable doctor/surgeon
After having had 3 previous cortisone shots on my shoulder and being never instructed that I could have my shoulder pain removed permanently, I got to have a visit with doctor Basset that took her time to explain to me what my options were. She was very clear and realistic about every single step of the surgery and post surgery during the physical therapy. I trusted her through all the phases pre and post operation. Nowadays, I'm pain free and able to break free from 6 advil gels or antiinflamatories that were a constant every day. I'm recovering my normal life and being able to do things without being scared of the pain. I'm a normal functional person.

Amazing
Dr. Bassett has done an incredible job with my care. From my pre-op, to the operation itself (I am an anxious person) where she helped me with my fears. The surgery went well and Post OP has been an incredible journey and I now have full motion on my leg/knee. There was constant and clear communication.

Fantastic experience
I was blessed to find Dr. Bassett after a previous doctor had misdiagnosed my injury. Dr. Bassett was confident and professional in explaining to me that I had a pectoral tendon tear. Dr. Bassett was heavily invested in making sure I returned to good physical shape for work in a safe and timely manner. I am extremely thankful that I chose Dr. Bassett to perform my surgery. She communicates well, and met with me multiple times afterwards in order to check the status of my surgery. Six months later I am back at work and 100 percent healthy again. I would recommend her and NJ Ortho to anyone.

Dr. Bassett provided excellent management of my achilles rupture
Dr. Bassett has been wonderful in her care of me after I ruptured my achilles tendon playing tennis. From her compassionate demeanor to her excellent clinical skills, I would recommend her to anyone seeking orthopedic care. She had me in a walking boot two weeks after surgery, while other providers may keep patients in a cast/splint for longer. This decision helped me to progress faster in my recovery, while still allowing me to heal safely. I have met others who have ruptured their achilles who still have difficulty moving around a year later. Today I am three months post surgery and getting stronger and more mobile every day. I am very grateful to Dr. Bassett and encourage anyone seeking orthopedic care to see her!

Dr Bassett is an amazing surgeon with a huge heart.
Like so many other families, we were devastated and overwhelmed after my daughter tore her ACL. Dr Bassett immediately took us under her wing and was with us every step of the way. Her attention to detail and soothing bedside manner made it much more manageable. She is professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable and incredibly caring. My daughter is a stronger, more aware athlete because of her care.

Dr. Ashley Bassett is a skilled surgeon and all around good doctor
My daughter had tore her ACL at a soccer game. Dr Bassett guided us through it all. From surgery to full recovery. She is thorough, knowledgeable, skillful and personable. We were very impressed with her. She was available to answer any questions throughout the entire process and was genuinely concerned about my daughter’s recovery. We feel confident that my daughter is more than ready to go back to playing sports.

Most doctors don’t listen to you or give you their one hard option, I’ve been to many orthopedic doctors. Dr. Bassett was great to speak with, explained everything multiple ways and let me make my own decisions. Bed side manner was fantastic and she seems to be very current with all her procedures and knowing the newest way to fix things.

De.Bassett is very thorough In explaining the diagnosis.
I am a Patient of Dr.Bassett for two injuries. My right labrum had torn and bone and cartilage was floating around. She performed surgery on my arm and it could not have gone any smoother. The second time was on my left labrum. It is torn from what the MRI showed and Dr.Bassett advised me on her recommendation. Overall I would recommend her for anything she is very competent.

Dr Bassett was top notch from start to finish
My surgery was a Mensicus repair. My knee was in bad shape and was constantly locking up and giving me issues before I went to see Dr Bassett. She was precise in describing what had happen to my knee. She explain to me what caused it and explained to me the best possible approaches to fixing my knee. She kept me in the loop and always informed me of what was going on! I’ve had 4 surgeries and This was the best experience I’ve had pre and post surgery. I would highly recommended Dr Bassett if you’re looking for someone who is professional and caring!

The experience was excellent from day 1.
Dr. Bassett exudes professionalism from the moment she walks into the office. She listens to concerns and explains each step of the process with clear explanation. I felt like I was her top priority and only patient with her care. As a workman’s compensation case, I was unsure of the process and eminent surgery. After our 1st meeting, I was confident in Dr . Bassett and her ability to perform the needed surgery. She is quite detail oriented. My surgery was a success. Thank you Dr. Bassett!

Very good bedside manner, very thorough. Professional and to the point.
I had to have the bicep tendon repaired in my elbow. The doctor explained exactly what needed doing, and got it done. I’m back to normal and couldn’t be happier with my outcome.

Better than I could have ever expected!
Dr. Bassett has been amazing listening to and addressing any and all questions and concerns explaining exactly what was going on throughout the process. Compared to other doctors it has been night and day I would recommend her to anyone!
